I have been here a few times before in the past and the service and food is always so good! Everything is presented with great care and both of the chefs pay great attention to detail.I ordered the royale with crumpets and hollandaise sauce and my best friend had a burger and chips. The food was divine! Our waiter was so cheerful and friendly. He was extremely attentive and came back to check that everything was okay. The environment is clean and aesthetically pleasing with a slight rustic look which makes it stand out. We opted to sit on the table with sofas this time and it was very comfortable.Overall it is a friendly restaurant and it is welcoming to all. In the past I brought my daughter here and we found it accommodating.

This was a really cool cafe in Forest Hill. Firstly I was surprised how big it was inside. Had a nice open plan feel to it.I was really impressed by the effort that had gone in the decor of the cafe. Quirky, rustic, artsy space with excellent array of lighting around the cafe.... also really enjoyed the open plan toilet space downstairs.Aside from this the food was lovely, we both opted for brunch dishes in mid afternoon! - Bacon Benedict and Eggs Royale. I added Avocado which was no trouble for them. We were really impressed with both the taste and the presentation. The juice Ginger Glow was really tasty too. The only thing that we could fault was the flat whites were really milky (like Costa) and could have been stronger coffee wise but this was our taste. It was still nicely presented. The gentlemen server was kind and welcoming throughout and we felt well looked after.I was really impressed with this place.

Lovely place, quick and friendly service. Disappointed by my food however, my eggs were poached in what tasted like pure vinegar. Have eaten here before and was great so am sure just a one off heavy handed accident!

Went here for a breakfast on a Sunday morning. I ordered the full English. It came and there was a long hair under my food. I understand this happens and kindly sent it back. When it came back out my order was wrong. They charged the full amount with zero compensation. Wouldn’t recommend, there are far nicer places for a breakfast in the area.

Super cute cafe in the heart of forest hill with a back garden for sunny days. Kitsch quirky decor and a comfy living room feel inside.Smoothies, juices and cakes were deliciousAlso got the Buddha salad, which was ok but slightly underwhelming, not much flavour. The chips were yum though, seasoned well!Aside from that though, would definitely go back!

In general:- good food put small portions- friendly staff- slow service- very nice garden areaI had the breakfast burrito (in photo) which was good. It cost £12 + service charge but I thought it was particularly small especially at such a high price. The burrito was also extremely light. After eating this as brunch I had to pop to the supermarket to get some more food! The service was also extremely slow and we waited a long time for the food but the server was very apologetic.I probably will not be returning

We had brunch on Saturday. Served by a man w a dark beard. We felt he barely tolerated us - a group of three w a toddler (who was very quiet and well behaved). It genuinely felt like we were an inconvenience to him. It's a shame - I have been once before and served by the blonde lady who was lovely. We probably won't go back - there is plenty of competition for brunch in Forest Hill / Sydenham. The food is good though!

Excellent, proper sausage bap! The coffee was fantastic too. Super friendly cafe, plenty of space, and some really interesting, quirky art on the walls too. I'd be very happy to come back next time I'm in the area.

Went here for my birthday for breakfast. Lovely food and great service. They even made me a different drink for free after a misunderstanding. I'll be back.

Very cosy cafe, bigger inside than expected, nice little function room at back. Nice coffee. Didn’t eat but it looked good!
