Fireplace Trade Centre

Please DO NOT use this company!We brought a wood burner from this company in September 2022. we were then messed around with delivery and fitting dates, meaning the wood burner wasn't fitted until 4 days before Christmas.We were very excited about using the wood burner over the winter period. However, we were faced with many issues, the biggest one being the fitters hadn't swept the chimney properly before installation. This led to a mass chimney fire a week after installation. The fire fighters on seen where shocked at the state our chimney had been left in, and it was expressed to us how lucky we were to still have a house.John, the owner from fire place trade Centre, just said it was the fitters fault. He was so unhelpful that we called and called, and we were told the fitters would be in touch. However, when our house was riddled with damages, he wanted nothing to do with us. John had no compassion for what we had just gone through and showed no care or interest in the damages of our home. We have just spent the last 8 months fighting for a reinstillation of the Woodburner and compensation for the thousands of pounds worth of damages having to go through insurance companies and being faced with nothing but difficulties from John and his fitters.

After researching many companies and visiting a few I found the best customer service here with no nonsense advice. Vikki and John are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and explained start to finish what would happen plus some great prices too..Our old fireplace was not straight forward and John took another look after we had some parts dismantled. The final works were given to the highly experienced fitters who made a fabulous job at a most reasonable cost also. No mess, fuss and a great log burner installed. The fitters they use are highly skilled and you will pay them direct, this saves a lot of money as many companies add plenty on top and pay the fitters as I had found during researching.Many thanks for all your help

It’s a really huge thank you to the helpful staff and fitters at Perryhill Fireplaces.We are delighted with our new log burner. It was fitted at the end of September and replaced an open fire in a small south facing room.The fitters took a couple of days to cut a bigger opening in our original fireplace and line the chimney. Then screed and render the area. We waited a few days for it to dry out then the brilliant burner was fitted. They were very professional and efficient .I would be delighted to recommend both them and the wonderful Allure.04 Eco Design 2022 SIA ready.Merry Christmas everyone and thank you again.

Don't trust this company! even after a visit, an assessment, an estimate of the work to be done to install your new gas fire & arrangements in hand to pay the deposit, this company can well pull out at the last moment, without apology, on the flimsiest of reasons! it did this to me; within 2 days of asking how I was to pay the deposit, it said it had too much work & wouldn't be prepared to do my installation AS IT DIDN'T WANT TO LET PEOPLE DOWN Salt in the wound!!

Absolutely TERRIBLE company!!!! DO NOT purchase from them…. We ordered a wood burning stove the 23.8.22. It was only delivered 15.11.22 with estimated fitting of 7.12.22!!! Having been told 5 weeks from purchase date for delivery… and we paid in full!!!! POOR communication with every excuse under the sun… no decency to compensate for such poor service all round… I CAN NOT stress enough about this company DO NOT USE!!!
