Do not use this place to pawn jewellery you will more likely get a much better offer else where the offer he’s just made me for my Cartier watch was laughable so much less than everywhere else I’ve tried. He also offered to value my Jewell’s for my divorce valuation purposes at a percentage of the valuation as his price or £600 for the day rate! nice try but no cigar Peter Edwards. Flat fees are available for valuations girls watch out!

Visited here today staff were extremely friendly, helpful and very informative. I can see why this store has been a valuable asset to the local Old Swan community for over one hundred years. Answered all my questions and offered an uncomplicated and caring service. Gave me some terrific advice on an old gold watch that needed repairs and a replacement battery and strap that belonged to my late father. Carried out there and then for what was an unbelievably low price..Would definitely visit again and also recommend this store to others. Mr Edwards even contacted me by telephone shortly after I left the store to update me with some extra information. Thank you very much indeed.

I was really impressed with this professional and caring jewellers from a phone call I made before visiting the shop to the staff in the shop. I had rung another jewellers who was not interested or attentive. I was only getting a ring straightened and polished. I was pleasantly surprised with the courtesy and care given even though I was spending next to nothing. It said on the chitty moderate prices" and I genuinely believe that they mean this. I came away happy and would definitely recommend and go back again."

My wife has had her rings cleaned, dipped and a stone replaced a couple of times and never had a problem, I walked in off the street a few weeks ago to enquire about silver soldering a piece of jewellery, the work was unexpectedly done on the spot and charged a surprising good price. Will definitely use this jewellers again.

Rang up first to ask can you replace my watch battery. “ yes we can “ arrive at shop to be told we don’t have the tools for this !! Really poor attitude. Best using Meadows by Sainsbury’s

This is , without a doubt the most helpful jewellery store I have ever visited. Without exception, all of the staff go out of their way to try and fulfil your requests. I have bought jewellery here and also had jewellery valued and their professionalism is first class. I would not hesitate to recommend you choose this shop for your first choice to visit- if they haven’t got what you want - they will try their best to get it for you with a bit of friendly advice and banter thrown in for good measure.

W J Edwards is a family jewellers/pawnbroker in Old Swan. The staff are absolutely lovely.. so friendly and helpful. They also do repairs very quickly and at a fraction of the cost of a town based jeweller. I was so pleased with the service I received when I had two diamond rings repaired. The repairs were completed within a week and the price was fair too. Also they had amazing diamond rings for sale, and although they were pre owned, they were very modern and stunning and were a fraction of the price of new diamond rings of the same calibar. I would highly recommend this jewellers.

Called in on the off chance they could fit a new battery to my husbands watch. He’s had the watch for over 30 Yrs it was a present off the kids. The lady said yes they could replace the battery and it was fitted in 5 mins. Also very reasonable price will definitely go to Edwards in the future.
