Can't recommend these guys enough, easy going, honest and helpful with any requests or queries I had when buying my car.

For my first car purchase, this had to have been the worst experience I could have wished for.Given that Hertford Car Sales is an AA approved dealer, I thought I was buying from a reputable company. Alas, this was not the case.They sold me a Citroen C3 Picasso in September 2021 that was not of satisfactory quality. The appropriate PDI checks were not performed. The car had multiple faults in the 8 weeks I owned it (shock absorber, engine and brake issues to name a few). When I tried to get the car repaired, although Hertford Car Sales offered their services, it was at my cost to return the vehicle and there was a significant wait for repairs. An independent garage also confirmed there were further issues with the vehicle that should have been picked up prior to purchase on PDI and MOT.Throughout the 8 weeks, I tried to engage Hertford Car Sales but their communication was rude, unhelpful and untrustworthy. In the end, I had to return the vehicle due to all the faults and because it was declared undrivable by the independent garage. I am still out of pocket for repairs and for the fuel remaining in the car that Hertford Car Sales refuse to pay me for, despite engaging in mediation with them through the AA.All in all, a terrible experience and I wholly agree with Mithun's review 5 months ago. I only wish I had seen that before I purchased and I would recommend anyone else to steer well clear of Hertford Car Sales Ltd.

This is genuinely the only review I have ever written about anything, but felt I needed to. Excellent experience from start to finish. The process was great and I would whole heartedly not only use them again but I have already recommended to all friends and family looking to buy a car. Rikki and Jon (and the whole team) are knowledgeable, kind and I think most importantly honest and not 'pushy'. There was even a tyre issue 1 month after purchase (its a car, these things happen!) and they helped and sorted it for me. Really is above and beyond! Thank you and please give these guys look if you're thinking of buying a car.

I phoned up Hertford Car Sales to view a Volvo. The car was beautifully presented to us and Dominic and Ricky were fantastic and professional. They allowed me to test drive it and explained all the details of the sales. Dominic was a great guy to deal with. I highly recommend them because they will do their best to satisfy you.

Not sure where to start with this review as it really could have been a 5 star. The experience up until I had bought the car was really great. I spent £18 000, (Taken me a while to save) on an Audi that was supposedly serviced recently. Now 3 weeks later after several calls and emails I have still not had any response or received documentation to confirm the car service. The service button was obviously reset so beware, but according to half an oil level and then advised by an Audi dealer, this service had not been carried out. Not only was a cheap tyre fitted to pass MOT but the valet of the vehicle was really not great either! However I will own a part of this as I drove a long way to collect and did not possibly give enough time. So sadly guys you let me down. All I would say is that you check all promised documentation. But be warned there is no after sales service which is so sad as the guys were really a great team.

I bought a BMW 330i from this dealership a few months ago and I’m really glad to have chosen this place. The car is amazing and I’m loving every minute of driving it.What really did it for me was the level of aftercare and attention to customer satisfaction. Any issues whatsoever, rest assured these guys will go the extra mile to look after you and make sure you’re happy, and will always respect your consumer rights.Come the time to buy my next car, this place will be my first port of call.Many thanks to Dom and everyone else at Hertford Car Sales. I highly recommend this company. The over riding feeling when dealing with them is helpfulness and honesty.Just before Christmas I bought a great little car, I couldn’t be more delighted with it. Rikki was great to deal with and continues to be so. I had a couple of niggles with it recently and straight away, he said bring it down and we’ll take a look. I feel like I’m in safe hands, what more can you ask for. If I ever need to buy another car, I won’t hesitate to look here first.
