Scammed my uncle out of £160 by using a second card machine. When confronted they denied this happened even when they were shown the bank statement. Until this money is paid back I will leave this review here.

WARNING! Do not shop at Bangla Bazaar, this is a fraudulent shop and is currently be investigated by the Trading Standards Agency and the Police.They scam customers by overcharging and sending money to another account. So it can't be given back when customers complain.Please avoid this deceitful shop. I now shop at Euro Halal which is much cheaper and they do not steal your money.

They Scammed one of my family members for £160.00. They swapped the card machine on a sly then denied it once confronted. Told them to contact the police. AVOID PUTTING YOUR MONEY INTO A BUSINESS LIKE THIS. #THIEVES

In this shop my partner bought £20 worth of goods but was charged £160 and when asked for our money back they said we should contact the police.Really disappointing they think we shopped at a different shop to not pay us back.

Extremely disappointed. It is true what others say in the area. One example: bought kilos of beautifully displayed cut up meat only to have got given just bones and fat that is un-edible. They display the top of the cut meat pile with a layer of pieces of meat, underneath is only bones and fat. He carefully grabbed out the contents of the underneath, leaving the pieces of meat in top. When I questioned that I am only being given bone and fat, he denied. And the state of the way they cut up the contents I received was horrendous. I have forwarded to the relevant department. Will never shop at Bangla Bazar and will not recommend.

I was close by to this shop so thought I'd get some essentials. I chose what I wanted from the outside area and was still looking around when a member of staff snatched the items from me and said he had to hold on to them for me til I was ready to pay. I thought this was odd but continued looking around inside the shop - then I noticed that he was following me around! I wasn't going to nick anything! I was very put off by this behaviour so didn't bother getting anything else, just paid for what I'd already picked earlier to be polite. I can go elsewhere for my shopping where shopkeepers behave a bit more normally.

Honestly as the daughter of the owner of bangla bazaar most of the reviews I see are fake.They have improved so muchAnd for the meat selling they have rented it and then found out the people that are selling it are scammers so they stopped.My father can call the police and find if they have stolen £160 from the people who are coping the other person who made the lie about steeling. Thank you for listening
