Worse fish ever had, you'd think being in Brixham harbour you would have fresh fish but this was definitely frozen packet fish, and it was overcooked so was dry and tasteless, very disappointing

Was there for a few hours, and was 3 really chippies in close proximity, we chose to go nicks and have to say was so impressed best battered sausage I've eaten. I don't like fish but did try my partners fish and it was actually really nice

Fish and chips were reasonably good but really unfriendly older woman that served us .Very blunt when i placed the order. grubby high chair for my grandson . would not go back

Very good fish and chips. I had the haddock which for me is superior to cod and tasted good,chips were nice and chunky with good taste. A regular fish and chip shop and all seemed clean and tidy.

We always come here when on holiday as we loved the freshly cooked fish and chips but we came in May 2023 and the cod was grey and the batter was hard.Called in today 13/09/2023 and ordered two small cod and chips plus roe and chips. The bearded gentleman in charge was miserable and unfriendly. The food arrived but the roe was not battered and the small cod batter was so hard it broke up and was almost black in colour. The majority of the chips were hard and not edible. Then to make matters worse the bearded gentleman then started washing out the floor in the back room -where the potatoes are cut into chips- with what smelt like a disgustingly smelling mop which filled the shop with a terrible dead fish aroma.£36 for three awful meals.Never again.

ordered chips then got pushed out because we ‘looked like’ we were going to takeaway. wasn’t asked if we’d like to eat in or takeaway but was extremely rude saying we couldn’t sit in an empty room because we had takeaway boxes

Truly excellent food and service. Staff are always ready to help with any query. 2 separate menus, one for eat-in and one for takeaway. Dogs are welcome too which is a bonus!

Service was good, however chips were clearly re-cooked & “battered sausage” was a lot to be desired. I would have taken photos but I left the dirty remains back on their doorstep. As a local, not impressed
