I strongly suggest driving a few miles further to one of the friendly shops in any of the other nearby villages. The rude old battleaxe behind the counter in Spar appears to believe she's a Victorian headteacher. The post office staff couldn't have been nicer.

Been in to use this shop a few times. But last visit I found the staff a bit rude and unhelpful. Asked about things I've bought before that I coundnt see and was told no don't sell that!! Well you did last month. Post office man is nice and friendly though.

Small spar that covers most of what you would need, also sells alcohol and some fresh vegetables. Has a couple of fridges for the bacon sausage etc and a couple of freezers that have ice, chips ice cream and the like. Essential store for the morning papers and any post office requirements. Also use this as an Amazon pickup location which can be handy for those forgotten holiday essentials.
