Flame Factory | The Flame Factory brings wood fired pizza, flame grilled burgers and rare bred Clovelly Longhorn steaks to the historic Appledore quay side Hello from the Flame Factory, we're not trying to be big; we're only in Appledore - family owned and run by Jayne, Angie, Matt & Brian. we're not trying to be clever; we just want to make great pizzas, burgers, steaks for folks to enjoy in our beautiful Georgian building that stands tall on the Appledore quay front overlooking the calming waters of the estuary. We are proud of the variety offered in our menu; we've developed vegetarian and vegan lines that are packed full of flavour and as we thought about how to provide gluten free at the planning stages of our kitchens we offer gluten free pizza bases & burger buns prepared in our gluten free zone. Had a meal for two here on Saturday eve. Amazing food!!! Stupendous. Home cooked to perfection. Brilliant service. Super friendly staff. Packed out and great atmosphere.Dog friendly!

What a wonderful place! After a long day of exploring Cornwall, my three companions and I were trying to find a late meal in Appledore, but every eatery had closed its kitchen.It was looking bleak for four hungry travellers.Then we came upon the Flame Factory, also preparing to shutter after a busy day. Their ovens were shut off, their tables cleaned and staff were finishing up. As we began to shuffle off, the manager ran after us. The fryer's still on

I was recommended the flame factory for a birthday meal and it did not disappoint. Great selection of drinks.The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great and the service was fab and they even provided us plates and a knife for the birthday cake! Will definitely be back again and hopefully soon!

The most EPIC pizzas and amazing for gluten free - if you have coeliac disease they take cross contamination seriously and the staff are super helpful. Plus the pizzas are HUGE! Great atmosphere, I just love it here!!

This place is well worth a visit. The pizza was amazing. The whole setting is worth checking out. I did see steaks on the next table and they also looked the dogs! The service was really excellent. You must give this place a go!
