There was a big group of us on a ladies night. We had an amazing 3 course meal in the restaurant (Jessie's Cavern) staff were awesome. The bar next door did not disappoint. The owner set up a game of bingo then we had a karaoke and disco. I would highly recommend both Jessie's Cavern and Royals Bar.

A small and friendly musical gem at the lower end of Lord Street. Welcoming atmosphere with friendly people and the music was fantastic with Jenny Wren hosting an open mic night on the evening I attended.Beer selection was good as was the price. If you're into your music and like a nice place to be, then make this bar a must go to on your places to visit in Southport.

We called in here for the last drink of the night. There were 2 singers with guitars. Too loud for our dog, so we sat outside where it was bearable. Looked like a good venue for music lovers.

About a month ago I was among a party of 11 ladies who had the pleasure of visiting Royales Bar for Sunday lunch. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a fabulous meal and then we were entertained by a lovely lady singer who unfortunately I’ve forgotten her name. We all agreed that it’s a music bar that we will return to.

The owner works hard to get people into this great bar and music venue ,I went to the open Mike Ukele night it's a great idea also they have the addition of food during the day,great spot if you live or visitors to Southport
