Big Bear Bakery
Generally very good, however sourdough bread can be hit or miss although is always tasty.Last two times we’ve got bread here, it’s been really flat. Not much use for avo & toast or making a toastie.Very pleased this is on our doorstep - big selection of pastries and sweet treats.Things like brownies, blondies and brookies tend to be physically lighter than other places - more air whipped in them and a lighter feeling to eat.

I'll be honest, I'm not that fussed about cake generally: fat, sugar and then more fat.However I ordered a nine inch Victoria Sponge cake from Big Bear Bakery yesterday, and -oft- it was amazing. Light, fresh, just brilliant.I would recommend Big Bear Bakery to cake and non cake enthusiasts alike.Love you x

Come here all the time, my go to spot for sourdough and cheaper than anywhere else I’ve found. The cakes are amazing and the staff are so friendly.

Big Bear Bakery
The Big Bear Bakery is one of my absolute favourites and one of the best bakeries in Glasgow. Fantastic coffee, amazing pastries, almond croissants and cakes and they always have a fab selection on the weekends! The service is also super friendly and helpful.

Very tasty danish topped with pistachios and oats. I also tried the Portuguese tarts and were delicious. Will be back to try more.

Just visited for the first this morning. Hardly ever leave reviews but 5* fully deserved. Black sesame sourdough loaf was outstanding and pistachio/raspberry croissant is life changing

The creations of this shop are out of this world! Mouth-watering flavour combinations and aesthetically pleasing pastries.We bought a potato-garlic confit foccacia, a spinach-ricotta filled croissant and a raspberry and pear danish. Everything was delicious! We will definitely come again!
