Lovely accommodation for the Jubilee weekend, great value. Check in and communication from the owner was excellent in advance and can't fault. Kitchen fully equipped. Main bedroom very comfortable. The sofa bed in the living room could probably do with renewing as the springs seem to be going and was uncomfortable for our children. Also wifi is extremely poor but that could be due to the remote location which is a big part of the appeal so possible out of owners control but a warning when booking would be good as my wife needed the internet for work and she really struggled. It would be impossible to stream a film via the internet if you wanted to. Overall The Old Shop was excellent and would suit a couple wanting a quiet weekend. We spent an evening in the local pub which was very nice with friendly locals and we sat in front of the open fire. We would return to the Old Shop if we went back to the area in the future.
