I couldn't recommend Bernie enough. Bernie is such a fabulous lady who makes you feel so comfortable and is totally amazing at her job. Bernie recently made alterations to my wedding dress which required the length taking up and also alterations at the shoulders to allow the top part of my dress to fit correctly but for this to be done, Bernie had to take off and sew embellishments back onto my dress by hand. When I went for my final dress fitting my dress was just perfect and you couldn't even tell the embellishments has been adjusted. The alternations made so perfectly allowed myself to feel so special and wonderful like I had dreamed on my wedding day.

Bernie altered my very awkward multi layer wedding dress and I don’t think anyone else would have done a better job! Had waist, bust and bum/thighs to take in, awkward lace hem to take up and detachable straps to add on and made it look fab! Very easy to talk to and very knowledgable, thanks again! ☺️

Wedding dress alterations - Bernie was amazing from start to finish, incredibly honest about what alterations were required and how these would be completed with several appointments in between to ensure that all the alterations would be right/fit with the style and material of the dress. Bernie altered my wedding dress and custom made a veil for me using matching floral lace appliqués. She was absolutely fab from start to finish. The alternations my dress needed weren’t easy given the intricate fabric and the lace detail but she was always proactive, had different solutions that we talked through and really friendly and supportive throughout as well. I bought my dress from butterflies on portrack lane. They recommend I got a size 14 and have it altered to fit, so I did. When I took it to Bernie there was a lot of work that needed doing, taking in under the arms, waist, and hips, taking up at the strap and at the bottom, the bust closing up and the buttons replacing. Bernie gave me the most cost effective options along side keeping its detail and overall looking fab. I also bought my hoop from her which made it much easier to walk in my dress.I had 3 fittings, and took it home on the 3rd. Bernie is very skilled at what she does and is very easy to speak to in regards to how you’d like the dress to fit.10/10 I’d recommend to anyone looking at their gown being altered

I contacted Bernie a few weeks before my wedding and I’m so glad I did! she’s absolutely lovely made me feel really at ease .. the alterations she did were that good no body new she had done them! Would highly recommend her to any one she really did a fantastic job.
