Superb and honest service. Had a discount on batteries for three watches and a repair job thrown in free of charge. 18 month guarantee on the batteries. This guy knows his trade and understands good customer service.

I visited this morning to buy some 'off cut' keys for my mum who suffers alzheimer's, she's obsessed by keys but loses them constantly. I explained what I wanted and was fully willing to pay but he gave me 4 keys free of charge. Lovely man. Thank you!

Have previously paid £25 elsewhere in London to have the battery on my Skagen watch repaired (and have had to wait to collect it too) - Mike did it in less than 3 minutes for £10, with a year's guarantee. Excellent service, highly recommend.

I've been going to Mike's shop for over 13 years and I've never been disappointed. He sells more than the name suggests too. Watch straps, keys cut, shoe polish/laces, even umbrellas for those rainy commutes on the days you forget your brolly! I could go to a chain of cobblers but I always prefer to give my trade to a small, independent business where possible and what better one than M. Allen, Vauxhall. 5* service!

This place knows how to get the job done, to the standard where the money spent is completely worth it. Needed a heal replacement on my leather boots and I'm delighted by how great my heals look, matching perfectly. That gave them some new life, and what a bargen at 15 quid for both. Good watch repair too!Side note: nicely ask the barrior security to allow you access to the shop, they're lovely.
