The Arden Arms
Although the pub was busy they found room for us in the unique Bishop's Room, which you access through the bar. I had gammon, my friend had cod and chips and both were perfectly cooked, accompanied by a pint each of Robinson's fine local beers. Stockport is the place to be on a Saturday evening:-)

We were passing through and stopped in for the Sunday roast. We were not disappointed with the generous portions, the good value and the warm, traditional pub atmosphere. My only complaint is that I was too full to try one of their puddings.

What a lovely pub... Totally dog friendly and the staff were amazing. My partner had the shepherd's pie that's in the picture. We can't thank the staff enough for the welcome and fuss they made of our dog also. We don't live in the area but the reviews and the fact that they are dog friendly made us visit this pub. If we are ever in Stockport in the future we will definitely visit again. Thank you... From myself my partner and Peanut our dog. They don't have a car park fyi

Lovely food better than pub grub and reasonable prices the girls that served the tables were really good dead polite beer and drink is a bit pricey but it is a Robbie's pub but they do have a great selection of beers if you are into cask ales.Massive seated beer garden with some cover and heating and have live bands on from time to time.

Been years since I frequented this pub but tonight we ventured out from Sale to see our friend play Bass with the Blues Blasters.Checked with the landlord (I presume) what time kick off was and he was very helpful.We went away and had a rubbish meal in the centre of Stockport and then returned for the gig at about 8.00.The service from the bar was quick, friendly and the atmosphere really conducive to a good night out.The stage was at the back of the pub in a covered area with plenty of seating for all and a perfect place for bands to performHad a great night in rockin or should I say Bluesin surroundings listening to some great music...and well done to all the staff and the chaps in the band for tonight.

Ric's first visit to this great Robinson's pub. A regular in the CAMRA Good Beer Guide. Famous for the food. Sunday roast at £10.50 gets really busy. .. Already busy at 12.30 on a cold February Wednesday afternoon. Yasser Arafic having a great pint of Dizzy Blond. Ric on Veltins. Fantastic heritage interior and a good beer garden. Found just off the market next to ASDA car park entrance. Well worth a visit. I like their music as well.

Had a great Sunday roast here. Lovely food at a very reasonable price. Unfortunately our afternoon was spoiled by a couple sat at the bar, only a few feet away who were swearing, badly, the entire time. 4 other customers were of the same opinion. Great quality food, shame about a couple of people ruining it.
