Adlington Walk

The redevelopment of Adlington Walk at Stockport’s Merseyway begins, marking the first phase of upgrades to the shopping centre.The improvements to Adlington Walk forms part of a package of works that will see new shop-fronts, landscaping and public realm improvements to Merseyway over the coming years.The new Adlington Walk will feature ‘best in class’ toilets, parent and child facilities and a quiet room. A new stair a lift core will bring visitors down from the rooftop car park into the shopping centre via a hotel-lobby style entrance. New landscaping will also help to link Merseyway with other areas of the town centre, including Stockport Interchange, due to complete in 2022.By September 2021 no work has started and the one vibrant shopping Mall is being propped up only by the post office.
