Fieldhead Surgery

I forgot to order my medication in advance leaving me without for the next day, Debbie checked I was okay and made a priority to ensure I got my medication same day. Great level of care

Quite shocked as new to the surgery, to have to fight for a doctor appointment for 20 minutes while receptionist keeps putting me on hold and delving into my medical history rather than believing what I told her about my long term chronic health condition, which was a complete waste of time for her and for me. The phone call was really badly handled

Computer says no attitude. I was told because our patients always moan we have to document it to cover ourselves." Wow what a great attitude to have. Times are really really hard and they go out of their way to make it harder. Now I'm no expert but if ALL your patients moan then maybe you're the problem.Like if you move house 3 times and always have bad neighbours it's probably you.Sort out your attitude before someone sorts it for you."

Absolutely horrible the front desk staff are rude arrogant and definitely have a superiority complex.We have been given wrong prescriptions, they have lost test results and there time keeping is atrocious.Having to wait 45 minutes past your appointment time is ridiculous and if you ask what's taking so long they get nasty .... these are not one off complaints either its constant

Over the past six months (after being in hospital poorly with covid) Fieldhead surgery have been able to offer me same day appointments - if needed. The receptionist team, admin, nurses and doctors have all been very supportive and caring, providing excellent care .

The worst surgery ever. Do not register with these guys. I have tremors and shakes all of a sudden after a collapse. I was scared , and I got shrug of the shoulders and said I don't know what's wrong and didn't offer any advise. They don't know how to assess people, and i have a medical background. . NEVER get my regular medication.. THIS SURGERY WOULD ONLY HELP IF YOU WANTED TO GET ILL.. and prob bump you off..Disgusting.. can't belive its still running.And I get REFUSED my inhalers and end up in hospital for Respiratory Failure..And they still aint bothered.

I've been with Field Head for 28 years however today I have moved to another surgery. The last straw was not being able to get through on the phone or having to give my medical details in front of a queue of strangers or waiting for over 45 minutes in a queue stretching up to Golcar for my flu jab and then being made to feel grateful I was being given it but sitting in the waiting room for 10 minutes, pressing the bell twice whilst two receptionists sat there having a natter. I could hear all as the cleaner held the door open cleaning the glass. I would give 0 stars if I could

Updated. Recently went in with weight loss, pain. Given various samples to collect one of which is a key test for blood in bowels/stomach. Returned test, no reply from surgery. Call to chase results and it seems GP didn’t complete the required forms and the test sample would have gone in the bin. Key test to start to understand what is going on with me. Really just not good enough. With the symptoms I have GPs have not even put hands on me.Our family have always had excellent care from fieldhead surgery, and no problems with the office and reception staff. They are working under a lot of pressure, and doing a really good job under these conditions. Many thanks

I ordered a repeat prescription and was advised of a 48 hr turn round time. Fair enough. However I called to collect and was told the prescription was refused and I needed to contact the GP. My complaint is no one contacted me to let me know. I believe a text could have been sent to me as soon as the order was refused.. Admin poor doctors excellent.

Doctors surgery needs investigating and should be struck off the NHS. Appalling service. Would not last two minutes as a business
