I cannot recommend J&P Canine Academy highly enough! Jack has a passion for helping and training dogs that is second to none and has the knowledge, experience and love of the journey to go with it! Before asking for help with my lad Marshall, I was all over the place as I didn’t know how to help him with his reactivity. Jack is a fantastic teacher of people and dogs and because of this my relationship with Marshall is the best it’s ever been and my boys is becoming the best possible version of himself. He has even made some dog friends that he will now happily walk with. We continue to move forward with Jacks help as he has instilled a love of training in me.

We cannot recommend this guy enough!!We have a near 3 year old GSD, who has reactivity issues with other dogs. We went to see a local trainer when he was 4 months old, wasted soooooooo much money, ended up worse off with his reactivity and got no where, except backwards.We have made the 6 hour journey to see Jack on multiply occasions, and have never been disappointed.Worth the journey, worth the money, and have seen such a difference is our dogs over all state of mind, reactivity and general happiness, and most of all understanding between him and us, which has helped tenfold with his reactivity and our bond/relationship which is so important.Jack has so much to give to dogs and owners and you really feel that when you are with him. He makes everything relatable and easier to understand for where your at in your dog training journey.His experience working with rescue dogs and training his own dogs really shows. He is not a qualification trainer"

Brilliant trainer who is really passionate about supporting you and your dog meet your goals. Jack really takes his time to understand your dog and assess you as a handler. I have a reactive Shepherd whose behaviours contradict the last so his issues are quite complex. After working with Jack on his previous pet programme we have reached so many milestones and I wouldn’t know the things I do, or understand Thor the way I do without his help! Great trainer and really down to earth guy, can’t recommend enough!

We’ve been working with Jack for 1-2years now and my handling has improved greatly. My Doberman’s reactivity is next to none!We have worked both individually and within group sessions, Jack is very knowledgeable and I highly recommend!

Jack has helped us massively with our puppy, we took her to Jack from 10 weeks old after booking her onto the “puppy fundamentals” course. we have learnt so much in only 3 sessions with him! Our pup is now 5 months and is super well behaved and her training is getting better by the day. I have owned big dogs all my life and I thought I knew the best way to bring a pup up… I was so wrong! The amount of knowledge Jack has is unbelievable and I wouldn’t ever go anywhere else! Can’t wait to book onto our next course! 100% recommend to anybody! Thanks Jack, see you soon!

Jack is really friendly and approachable and so knowledgeable. He's really helping my boy Odin and his services are well worth the money. He always has time to help and he explains things in a way that makes everything so much easier to understand. If you want a balanced trainer that really does love dogs, I wouldn't look any further.

I can't thank Jack enough for all his help with my boy. I've struggled a lot in the past with handling Bruno whilst out on walks, missing key parts of our relationship, poor engagement and I genuinely felt defeated a lot of the time and dreading going out on walks.Now fast forward to a couple of months later, my relationship with Bruno has blossomed into something I never thought we could achieve. J&P Canine Academy helped us so much with our dog who had barrier frustration, these days that’s a thing of the past and we can enjoy our dog off lead in loads of environments, we never thought it would be possible! Jack is really down to earth and explains everything so well, so you go away fully understanding what you need to do which makes the value for money fantastic
