Mortez tattoo & piercing

Update 2023*Pictures are true and factual to the work i have been left with since visiting mortez tattoo look for yourself honest experience*I have had no resolve from this company considering the money and trust i gave them . i had 2 tattoos done here which i had been so excited to get, initially my first one looked great on the day it was done but then i took a reaction to the aftercare cream they provided or ink who knows ? but it messed up the artwork and had to go back switch out the after care cream & have a few touch ups as the ink wasn't staying in and the cover up was coming through the halloween piece despite being assured my small tattoo would be covered up prior plus i had extra shading to make it look complete as you can see from the images that didn't go well as per 2023 images of healed tattoos.1 year or so give or take since the initial tattoo (Micheal Myers) they are just dull washed out & areas are patchy and it bothers me , i opened dialogue to get all my issues sorted but they haven't fully been resolved & i have been ignored.i have spent over £1400 gave tips as a thanks for time for these 2 tattoos that i would have hoped would have turned out well , I have other tattoos in better states that are alot older. i'm left with work on my body i have to hide which is giving me body issues but they will say your being picky! i have right its my body i need to look at everyday.My second tattoo (chucky) which cost double price of Michael which i wasn’t informed when i booked it would be multiple days as only one day was booked for me .They wasted time at start of my appointment despite me being early and during my time in the chair they went to consult with another customer which i had paid for that time.Chucky is also smaller & i wasn't told this till i was in the tattoo chair and left with half finished tattoo i had to schedule in another full day sitting again at my extra expense which i hadn’t been made aware off from the startThis chucky tattoo also didn't heal well despite caring for it ink was falling out , it bleeding/ burning and cracking and it had me extremely stressed an anxious i had to seek medical advice which they though i was joking about.i have had 3 touch ups on the Chucky and i tipped as always as a thanks. each time i make known what i'm unhappy with not all the areas are done when it comes to the actual day despite chatting before booking aThese are not my first tattoos i have had tattoos for over 20 years and never have i had so much bother with tattoos and never had so much trouble with tattoos healing or ink falling out or looking as these 2 do from mortez tattooAs long as money is parted thats all that matters i guess not the person who has now permanant ink of this poor qualityThey will say am i being to picky , well i don't think so as i have to live with these tattoos for life.lazering them off is not an option for me & why should i have that expense & pain i paid good money to have work done by mortez tattoo / formally nirvana tattooit has only soured my experience & caused me distress.To mortez tattooI appreciate you fitting me in for a few touch up & i appreciate your time it's why i also leave a gesture with my artists no matter how big or small which i could afford i put trust in you to make these tattoos look awesome & i spent more than my other tattoos on these pieces so i expected they would look awesome without issues.Pictures and silence speak so i will need to now look at my options as you have had more than ample time to correct this matter.Thanks to your studio i now have to cover my arms it has caused me distress & 1 year on i have been left in this position by your studio.I need a resolution to this now as i have suffered distress and depression due to this experience which hasn't gone since i made you aware.all i want is for them to be recoloured or refund which ever is easiest this is not a customer issue .i will give you a chance to respond back because this has scarred me.

Perfect walk in piercing experience. Rachael was well informed, very calming and very helpful. Made sure I was comfortable with everything! 100% will return for my next one !!

I got tattooed by Gabbie Vasquez the other day. I couldn't be happier with how it turned out (she's finishing a folk horror sleeve on me), and I didn't even cry a little which makes for a very successful Saturday in my book. Everyone at the studio is really nice and it's so clean you can eat off the floors (as long as nobody catches you).

This was my first tattoo and it was very personal to me.Gillian took my idea and turned it into an amazing tattoo which I love.The whole experience was so relaxed and friendly.I would definitely recommend Mortez Tattoo and Gillian and I’ve a feeling I will be back in the future.

Amazing and really helpful! I walked in with a question about my conch piercing and the staff were so keen to help! One of them (I never got their name but they were so nice) helped me to change out the piecing for a newer, better fitting, and far nicer earring! I will definitely be coming back here when I need a new piercing :)

Amazing artists, all of them! Wonderful service, welcoming and friendly. Had many a tattoo done by Gillian and will continue to for any more I'm getting done.Would (and do) happily recommend to anyone looking to get new tattoos.

Matty and Gillian were excellent! My mom and I went today and both absolutely love the tattoos we got! The thistle looks like it is exactly where it’s meant to be! Thank you for being so kind!

Gillian is fantastic. My appointment was to have a portrait of one of my dog's on my leg and WOW, the detail Gillian put it is amazing. I love it. Gillian is professional, talented and friendly. No request was too much including a second tattoo. I wouldn't go anywhere else other than Mortez tattoo & piercing for my tattoos.

Fantastic service, took myself and my husband at pretty short notice, everyone was welcoming and friendly- the whole place felt so relaxed- I wouldn’t go anywhere else for a tattoo now 10/10
