Stay well clear. I was quoted £105 to scrap my car. When I went down 2 days later I was told to leave the car outside and go in and complete the paperwork. They stamped the V5C and then said £75. I said that they quoted me £105 2 days before to which they replied that the price of scrap had fallen (I know this is a lie since no other companies had reduced their quotes). I told them I wasn't interested, went to get my car only to find that they had bulldozed it against some scrap metal, completely denting it on both sides. I climbed in on the passenger side and luckily managed to drive off in my badly dented car. They had no right to do that to my car until they had taken ownership. Obviously this is a scam and most owners would have just taken the £75 but I would rather have given my car away. I got £107 from a company that came and picked it up from me.

Straight forward and painless process

They took my 75kg solid metal gate out of my car and refused to pay even a single penny as they don't pay if it's worth less than £5. So 75kg is only worth £3.50. What a joke. Better to give it to Street metal picker.
