Greatstone Beach

We like this sandy beach and easy car park we have been going this beach over a 7 years it doesn't get a over crowded use well and cross the road Fishing and chips, KEBAB shop, supermarket that all you need nice

Lovely quiet sandy beach not much on the sea front but that's what I like nice and quite and never busy can really spread out along the beach and have space.

If you go when the tide is out, the sea is out over 1mile.Walk out and there is mud/quicksand, lots of stranded jellyfish and razor clams everywhere.Beautiful beach, very unspoilt and perfect for families.

Lovely beach- nice to swim when the tide is in a bit, otherwise you will be wading through thick mud, so check tide times if you want to swim. Large car park next to the beach and quite a short easy walk over the dunes.

Love coming here, sandy beach, and lots of shells to collect. The only issue is that some people are inconsiderate to the environment. They leave their rubbish around, which makes me feel unsafe to walk barefoot in case there is a broken glass or sharp object. I love coming here but disappointing some people have no respect and care for the environment.

If you like Beach then Greatstone will give you all that you can take. It is huge, goes on for miles in either direction. Very flat, once over the dunes, and shallow, safe. The sand is very fine, powdery, and like a soft feather mattress when dry. The dunes offer a nice protective break from the built up bits. There are a few shops and eateries nearby the car park/toilets. We take our own bites and drinks to snack on the beach.Overall a great beach to go spend the entire day at. Totally non-commercial. Love it.

A nice beach to visit when the sun isn't so hot. When the tide is low there is a lot of mud and water is smelly, and can be difficult walking through it. The toilets do not have enough water and turns off fast. Also car park gets full by 12pm.
