Vets4Pets - Aintree

The reception staff are quite honestly lovely people. Always pleasant and helpful. I think Megan is one of their namesake I know one is Cristian? They are just a pleasure to deal with. I can’t remember the other ladies name I spoke to but she was so helpful!!!! Melissa?? The locum vet was concerned about my dog and turned out that she was right. He has lymphoma and without her concern I would never have known. My only concern is the lack of appointments at the moment and I hope that will change soon. Also told the reason X-rays could not be done was down to no staff…and I had to be referred to an animal hospital. But overall I love and appreciate vets for pets Aintree

Took my Staffordshire bull terrier into the vet as was unwell and lethargic. The vet was very rude and dismissive throughout the appointment. The vet said my dog had a slight issue with his kidneys which could be rectified by changing his diet to more white meat. She gave him an injection and some anti-sickness tablets and we left, £300 lighter. After this, my dog began to eat less and less and stopped drinking water.We took him back to the vet, he was in a very bad way and we were met with no kind of sympathy. We were made to sit in a busy waiting room, in a busy pets at home store, whilst my family was visibility upset, and my dog was euthanised.I have no faith at all that the vet helped in any way shape or form, just that she made things so much worse.I have another dog and 2 cats registered with this vet, and I will never take them to be seen by this vet again.

My Cat, Pickle unfortunately passed away very suddenly and I didn't wish to go to his registered vets as they let him down massively, so I contact Vets4Pets at Aintree, Liverpool and they were all so lovely, and sympathetic, happily let me register Pickle so he could be cremated by themselves. I was completely heartbroken about losing my cat and wen I arrived with Pickle the girls on reception were again so lovely, kind, caring and sympathetic, I even received a hug from one of the girls. I just thought I should leave a review as I was beyond touched with the warmth these girls showed me when I was going through one of the most difficult times I've experienced.I pickled Pickle up a week and a bit later, I've never had a pet cremated before so I didn't know what to expect. They gave me hair clippings and paw prints of him, and I was surprised how lovely he came back.I just want to thank the girls again for being so lovely to me at a very sad time, it meant the world to me.

As being a new puppy owner everything was explained to me and questions were answered,the vet was also lovely she made me feel at ease and my puppy didn't even feel the needles.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and they always take the time to talk to you about the issue. I feel confident in their interest in my pet being treated in the best way possible. They really care and we would use them again for more animals we may have care of in the future.

Our puppy has been really poorly & has been diagnosed with a seious condition called Megaoesophagus which has been really upsetting . .especially for our 2 little girls(5 & 6yrs)& we have had to take a lot of information & advice in quickly.The staff here have been so good wether its an appointment or an operation ur pet needs they are always on hand.In particular Richard ".He has had to repeat things to us and even explains Tillys condition to our little ones.We never feel 'rushed' and if we just dont get something he will explain it til we do.The staff at Aintree VETS4PETS treat the animals like they are their own. Cant ask for more than that. ."

Took my boy Jack in as an emergency. Honestly thought he would need putting to sleep because a previous vet (different practice) had told us his symptoms were likely old age and he had deteriorated substantially since then. When Jack met the vet at your Aintree store, he was immediately at ease (which has never happened before, that dog hates vet visits). Your vet checked him over and established that he has a nasty tooth infection. So even though, based on the previous vets advice, we thought it was all over for Jack, we got to bring him home! He is recovering well and I cannot tell you how thrilled I am to have my boy by my side. I feel sick knowing that, had he gone to a different vets, this could have been a very different outcome. Please thank your vet for his diligence and care, we are incredibly grateful for all he has done for our lovely lad.

Never found the tumor I said was in her chest cavity, pdsa won't touch her as she's registered with a private vets and I didn't have the funds to go back to vets4pets I was told there is no payment plans available.I called the rspca for help as I was getting really worried about my girl they found a tumor and fluid within her chest cavity.I've just had to say goodbye to my best friend.Worst experience I've ever experienced.Bad form vets4pets.
