Lucy's Little Bake House

Found this place by chance having escaped from the very busy Piece Hall. What a lovely cafe. The Victoria sponge was exquisite and the hot chocolate was the best I've ever had. The owner was so friendly and welcoming will definitely return.

When we walked into the building we were greeted by a huge smile and lovely staff member. This community is incredibly welcoming and is a lovely place to be I will 1000% happy to come back. Being that I have a dog it is quite hard to find a cafe inside that allows dogs but Lucy’s cafe is a dog friendly place for people and pets.

Best place in Halifax for coffee and baked goods. Really amazing friendly staff. Just sad I can’t go more often now since they’ve changed to close on Sundays!

Stumbled across this delightful little bit of cake heaven on our recent Christmas visit and what a find! Delicious cakes, reasonable prices, divine hot chocolate and such friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Spotlessly clean, kitchen in full view, lovely decor and the cleanest toilet we've ever seen complete with little touches like a free ladies needs basket. Only reason this couldn't be a 5 star review was the lack of savoury offerings.Lucy - we loved it! Love another Lucy's mum and grandma! We'll be back!
