The Hot Mess

I have worked with The Hot Mess on many occasions as an MUA on model portfolio days and they are the most professional, welcoming, happy, fun girls to be around. They are all individually amazing at what they do and they make a fantastic team which creates the best atmosphere. They provide as much as possible for everyone involved on the shoots from their professional edited images and publications in magazines to food and drinks on the day and lifts to and from the train station if you struggle with transport. They work with new models and experienced models but they treat everyone the same and are so supportive especially to new models who can sometimes take a while to come out of their shell in front of the camera. Everybody from stylists, makeup artists and models come away from a shoot with The Hot Mess girls feeling empowered, fulfilled, happy and a lot of people I have met on the portfolio days return or are involved on other shoots with the girls which just goes to show how much people enjoy working with them. I really couldn’t recommend The Hot Mess more, they are the best in the business!

I’ve been to several of The Hot Mess Gal’s portfolio days and have loved every one of them! You get to shoot with all three photographers and they each come up with a style and concept for you before the day. You get your hair and makeup done professionally and they provided any clothing I didn’t own to complete outfits if needed. They think of everything and make you feel so welcome and shooting with each is such a fun experience. They are all amazing at giving direction and confidence boosts and the whole day is so much fun. I can’t wait for the next one!

I have worked with The Hot Mess for a few months now and I absolutely love every minute I spend working with these girls. They are very professional whilst still being fun and energetic throughout the whole day! The girls always have amazing ideas when it comes to creating different makeup looks for each specific shoot and they always style each model perfectly, keeping it fresh whilst still dressing the model in a way which suits them best!
