Simply fabulous. George and his family have an infectious joy for what they do, and more importantly - what they do is incredible.Outstanding attention to detail and a tremendous ethos of low intensity farming, producing the finest beef and chicken I have ever eaten.Bravo.

I went on my own and the staff were all friendly. Well signposted self walk/toilets etc. The malteser cake was delicious too.Look forward to the next open day ☺️

I simply wouldn’t buy my turkeys anywhere else. The taste, flavour and succulence of their birds is hands down the best you will find. Reared by an amazing team who genuinely care about their birds and the environment. Pay a little more for a lot more. The best birds by a long way.

At Nempnett Pastures open day I ate the best tasting turkey I had ever sampled. The burgers were gorgeous also and all the animals are looked after so well with room to roam about guarded by lovely white dogs.

Thank you George, the Christmas turkey we ordered from you was of exceptional quality and tasted fantastic. My family thought it merited a Michelin star based on its flavour and succulence. Not to forget the beef topside joint from you we indulged on New Years Day that attracted so many compliments too. We are so lucky to have you as a local producer of such fine, ethically reared produce and will definitely be placing many more orders. Also, it was a pleasure to meet you when you made our deliveries in person, it was unexpected but very much appreciated.

Quite simply the best chicken you'll ever eat - it actually has flavour! Also, try the beef - the herd is the healthiest looking cattle I’ve ever seen. George and his family have worked tirelessly to deliver the highest quality products. From regenerative agricultural methods to pushing welfare standards beyond what most would think is possible, this is the sort of meat we should all be eating. The nutrient density provided through the Nempnett Farms’ process will not only leave your conscience in a better state, but your general health should benefit too! Christmas turkeys are great too - but get in line because I want one!

It’s not just that our Christmas Cockerel was delicious: moist, oozing with flavour and sporting the crispiest of tasty skin …it was knowing that it was raised naturally by a local farming family with the highest standards of care and welfare. The best meat out there and great customer service! I have been sourcing Nempnett meat for the past couple of years, from when they were producing poultry only. I had not been able to eat supermarket chicken for a while because it made me feel ill. After hearing about how they produced their product I thought I would give it a try. To my surprise and delight, I was able to eat chicken again! I became more interested in grass fed and pasture raised meat and so when they started producing beef I tried that also. Having bought from a few other farms producing food this way I can confirm that the Fords poultry and beef is the tastiest out there!!

Wow! All the passion and hard work that goes into putting a tasty turkey, chosty chicken and buttery beef on the table fills me with gratitude.I have unforgettable memories of my summer spent on Nempnett Pastures and I swear the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow is sprinkled in those fields.
