Alicia is everything we wanted in an Interior Designer.She listened with great patience. We made suggestions and she honed them into shape, she made suggestions and they were brilliant.We had a kitchen/living room area which we did not know what to do with and she transformed it into a much admired, comfortable family space.Alicia project managed everything, always doing what she said she would do, and did it with charisma and fun.We would highly recommend her to our friends and family and look forward to working with her again as we move into our new house.

I had a really great design consultation with Alicia. She came ready full of energy and ideas for my strangely shaped living room. She understood the problem fast and had suggestions for every element of the room and those next door I wanted advice on, from ceilings and coving to floors and doorways. I have spent about a year stuck on this room trying to think of every solution but Alicia still managed to offer me some new ones, including some ways to incorporate bespoke seating and shelving to fit the room. I am now excited to get going!

I thoroughly recommend Alicia to anyone who is looking for interior design advice. I contacted Alicia to help me with some ideas for my living room, which is a small room with two access doors and a fireplace! So not the ideal layout. I used to hate this room and ended up not using it a lot. Also, because I struggled to find a style for this room, I ended up not moving forward with decorations for the rest of the house. I was quite stuck. But Alicia came and made some wonderful suggestions for decorating the living room. She suggested what colour to paint the walls in, she showed us some sofas, blinds, TV stands and sideboards that would make the room look exactly how we wanted it to look. She also suggested not to do some very expensive work (removing the chimney breast) as it would not bring too much value to the room. I can't wait to start the works to redecorate our living room, which will probably become my favourite room in the house. If you are considering contacting Alicia for help, look not further; Alicia gave me direction and now I can really see the potential of our house! I will definitely use her services in the future! Alicia has been great in helping us plan out our extension and the associated interior design. She came in before the build began and really helped us clarify how our spaces could be used to their best advantage. She was very good in taking our broad brief and showing us how it could be improved; her advice helped us make many important improvements to our design and layout. She really helped us solidify in our minds how our spaces could work practically, while maintaining a cohesive feel and being nice to be in. We were impressed in how she adapted to our style and didn't try to railroad her own visions in. The practical improvements to the design more than justified the hour or two we spent with Alicia!We have subsequently had her along later in the build to provide more specific advice on specific fittings and furnishings, and again her advice on colour and design has helped us narrow down the infinite possibilities to a much more manageable range.Alicia is professional, friendly and approachable, highly recommended!

Our story with AZ INTERIORS, Alicia Zimnickas is a bit different, I used to live in Cambridge where I met Alicia, I hired her to design my restaurant at that time and she did an excellent job. Since then I moved to New York and worked virtually with Alicia. My husband and I recently bought a house in New York and knew we wanted to redesign the kitchen, living room and dining area, create an open space. We contacted Alicia asking for the help to pull all together. We like her style and the way she sees a space. I could trust her 100% although this time it was more tricky as she couldn't come and see the space. We work via Facetime and emails . It's amazing what we were able to achieve.

We called on Alicia to help with updating our open plan painted kitchen, dining and living area as we were struggling with coordinating all the different aspects. Her expert and friendly help in selecting paint colours, lighting, curtains and blinds has been invaluable; her fresh ideas made us look at the whole area in a different light. Alicia also encouraged us to go for a bolder colour scheme in our large guest bedroom that complements the furniture beautifully. We are now confident that we will achieve the transformation we desire. Money well spent!

Alicia provided a 2-hour design consult focussed on my ideas for refurbishing my living room, dining room and kitchen. I only decorated a couple of years ago but had already grown tired of the look (too influnced by trends of the time!). I wanted to make better decisions this time - more timeless, better suited to the size, shape and lighting of my space and I wanted to avoid being in the same situation in another few years time. Alicia's 2-hour consult turned out to be perfect for this (I'd never used an interor designer before). She really listened to my needs and tastes and provided detailed notes on colours/wallpaper, furniture placing and lighting. She even recommended some specific pieces she thought I'd like. Alicia also provided info on the refurbishment process, like who to contact and in what order. I would recommend her 2-hour consult without hesitation. Alicia from AZ Interiors is highly professional and a talented interior designer. She asked all the right questions to understand how I use my space at home, she took the time to understand my style and made suggestions to improve design and functionality.
