Gloucester Civic Trust city walking tours

These tours are absolutely brilliant. We were fortunate to have a very knowledgeable guide, James Dillon, who was happy to share his encyclopaedic knowledge of Gloucester with us. This certainly brought to life the Roman, Saxon, Medieval and Civil War times in Gloucester. Definitely to be highly recommended.

Please can you pass on our thanks to Mark, John and Julie for leading our group on their guided walk. I waited till I spoke to the Brownies this week to get their feedback. As adults we thoroughly enjoyed it and one of the leaders had only moved to Gloucester at Easter so it was really useful to her.I asked them to say in one word what they thought – so here goes.... Fun, exciting, amazing, terrific, spectacular, interesting, glorious, knowledgeable, fascinating, mindblowing, fantastic, informative and enjoyable.They did remember quite a bit about the tour. Mark will remember my chatterbox" brownie and she especially wanted to retell the story of the well to the rest of the group.
