Over priced food and beer , and looked like it had been there all day ...only 3 available igloos if raining and 5 shacks to stand under and still get wet . SERVICE poor to say the least and didnt feel festive at all . Will not be going there again . Portsmouth and gunwharf are nothing compared to southampton ,l live here all my life and its sad that we cant do better this time of year ,portsmouth has lost its way and l hate on line shopping ,but we do it because theres nothing here

I echo other sentiments on here in that it is too small. Given Gunwharf Quays is pedestrianised and there is a lot of room for more xmas stalls and cabins, the market should utilise more space throughout the precinct. To have the xmas market confined to one small area is not in the true spirit of xmas, and I expect tourists are also very disappointed by it.

Compared to 2022, this years is absolutely terrible. Last year I came back a few times, this year I won’t be coming back at all. Shambles.

As alot of the other reviews say, overpriced food, too small, not alot of atmosphere, some stool holders didn't really want to be there and theyhad forgotton that we pay alot of money to keep them going, atleast give us great festive customer service..... One Highlight sorry Lowlight was the beef/Pork and turkey roll stool advertising filled festive rolls for £7 each , and if you wanted roast potatoes (3 that is) thats another £1..... well the robotic service I got there can only be described as a scene from Little Britten

It's like they don't want people to come. Needs much more effort gunwharf, that area round the back by the docks is so under utilised.
