Arguably the best fish and chip shop in Sheffield let down with it only being open Thu, Fri, Sat. They also only take cash payment and there isn't a cash machine in Grenoside. It would also be mutually beneficial if they did deliveries, perhaps through Uber eats etc.

This was my childhood Chippy.When I was a nipper, I was always sent down to Pete's to get Saturday lunch to give my Mom a break from cooking.That was over 50 years ago and honestly, I still haven't found a Fish and chip shop to match it!The reviews look very promising, soI'm coming back very soon, just to see if it's nostalgia or if this is really is one of the best chippys in the UK.(I suspect I won't be disappointed:)

By far the best chip shop in Sheffield! It's always busy and is so perfectly located in the village. My only mild gripe is that it's not open a lot, only 3 days a week, although being a local chippy with perfect service I think we can deal with that :)

5 stars all round. I asked the lady who was wrapping the chips, on a scale of 1-10 how good are your chips. She replied 10 and she wasn't lying. Definitely going back for a 2nd visit

5 star for quality 1 star for opening hrs, best fishcakes i'v had for decades. nice service from staff. english chippys are a endangered species save the chip shops.

Outstanding Yorkshire fish and chips and winner of The Star's The Best Chippy" competition in 2013. A must for a traditional British Friday dinner and worth travelling to for the experience. The "chippy" has been owned and run by the same family for 44 years
