Excellent backstreet local. Great atmosphere with a mix of people, and a proper drinkers' pub, with a good range of drinks. Friendly service, comfortable inside, nice beer garden.

We were in town for a wedding and popped into this pub... Great little local. Good ales, friendly staff, good atmosphere. Nice big beer garden too. Would recommend if you're a real ale fan.

I've been coming here since I've turnt 18, it's my local pub and in my opinion the best in chippenham by a mile. It's been through some changes since then but genuinely I adore this place it's always a golden atmosphere and the staff are legends.

Nice old school pub. There’s a pool table and lots of different arrangements of seating for small and large groups. There’s a beer garden much larger than the interior of the pub, offering lots of great seating on a sunny day. There is also covered seating to keep out of the sun, or in case of rain.The beer and cider selection is fine— exactly what you’d expect from a pub with usual lagers and ales as well as 3 guest ales on tap.Snacks bits of food served like cheese rolls, nuts, pork scratchings.Staff are prompt and make an effort to keep the place tidy.Loads of local events going on here— open mic nights, comedy nights, quizzes, pool leagues. Keep an eye on the posters plastered all over the pub to see what’s coming up.

Good old fashioned visit to the pub just got better with the beer garden and regular music venue. All types of beers and good quality. No parking although you can use the local retail park car park.

Great little pub with excellent outdoor space for all seasons (cover and heated in colder months). Prices aren't the cheapest but the staff and vibe make up for it. Also, can never go wrong with a pool table.

Nice craft beers at your usual pub prices, the pub is a nice mish mash of things to look at on the walls shelves etc! They also have a pool table in the pub as well, looks like your nice little pub to go too, nice atmosphere while I was there as well no bad vibes at all! The staff behind the bar were nice and polite and even went out of their way to tell me about the other different beers they have on tap! Very nice indeed!
