Professor Edwards referred my son for specialist physiotherapy after he developed a functional neurological disorder and had been shaking for two years. Glenn Nielsen, the specialist physiotherapist, worked miracles! He helped my son to achieve stillness in his arms and legs that he thought he might never have again. I really can’t recommend Prof Edwards and Mr Nielsen highly enough - they made a teenage boy and his family very happy.

My daughter met with Prof Edwards regarding a movement disorder, on which we had received conflicting diagnosis and no help or advice. The consultation was an incredibly positive experience and at last some light has been shed on her FND. We now have much more of an understanding as to why and how this has come about and hopefully can work to make improvements in her daily life. Prof Edwards is that rare mix of an incredibly knowledgeable and experienced consultant, and an approachable and caring human being. I would recommend Brain & Mind without reservation to anyone with a Neurological problem.

I was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) in November 2020 and was waiting for a NHS referral which would have taken 6 months for the initial assessment. I was able to contact Brain & Mind and it was the best decision I made. I have been working with them for the last 4 months and the difference in my day to day management of FND has been incredible. Having an integrated approach to my therapy which included a neuropsychiatrist, neuropsychologist and occupational therapist meant that I was supported throughout the therapy. I thoroughly recommend them for assessment and treatment of FND

I saw Professor Edwards privately and he referred me for some intensive physio. Everyone was very honest and helpful and he liaised with my GP and NHS Neurologist to arrange further tests-I sought his opinion when I was diagnosed with FND.
