Popped into the Tailor's because my bag strap had broken whilst in town the gentleman inside looked at it and then at me and said he could repair if I raised both arms above my head and stood on one leg I did as he requested and he repaired my bag and his only request was a coffee I got one and returned and I also said to him if he wanted it to raise both arms and stand on one leg which he did what a great guy a nice human and in today's world a rare specimen big thanks for the repair and fir the laughs made my day..

Have had several repairs and alterations done at this shop. Always friendly and helpful service. The magic performed at tailor of Gloucester is always done in such quick time. Preserving and restoring older clothes and tailoring new clothes to the best fit.

I took in a favorite jacket to have the frayed corduroy cuffs replaced with leather and he skillfully accomplished this resulting in the jacket looking like new. I would heartily recommend Tailor of Gloster, not only was he reasonably priced but the quality of his work is first class - he is only too glad to share his experience to help you make the best choice. I would definitely use him again!!

I had a custom request to transfer the lining of a loved jacket to a new one, an unusual request given the different cuts of the jackets. Tailor of Gloster undertook the job, kept me informed, discussed options with me, and did a fantastic job.They may not be the cheapest option, but the quality of the work is extremely high, and worth the price. I'm happy to recommend them, and would use them again!

Went to collect an altered item just after 1700. Google states it's open until 1730. The sign on the door states 1730. The shop is locked up, lights out and no answer on the phone number.*EDIT* I was able to pick up the item the next day. Excellent work on hemming my husband's trousers.

Really great tailor,Adjusted my grandfathers old green velvet dinner jacket (hand tailored) to my size, fits perfectly, the material is really good quality and old so the whole adjustment had to be done by hand.Definitely would use again
