Amazing place! Well worth the money. You have to go in when it opens and leave just before shutting to get to see everything. They have canal trips, go down to see mines, villages and a fun centre for the children!

Fantastic place to go back in time with superb fish and chips available at Hobs and sons restaurantThe mine was great to visit but mind your head not really anyone over 6 foot tall!!If anyone been to the Beamish museum near Newcastle then BCLM is a lot smaller due to its location but worth the journey

We have just attended the Halloween event, and best part was friendliness of staff on such a cold night. Worst part was queues for everything, after waiting 25 mins for Fish n Chips at £7.50 they were both under cooked and burnt... Quite a feat. Couldn't get in to see much as completely mobbed and queues down the street.
