Landmark Oriental Restaurant and Bar
Out for a special birthday meal , didn't appear to expect us, didn't bother to check. Food was tasty although over salted and not hot, definitely less portion size per person compared to previous visits. Service was poor not impolite but time was taken up by another table that received the lion share of their time. Sat waiting sometime for the bill and then the card machine but ended up going to the bar on our way out to pay.Don't mind paying a considerable amount of money for exceptional food and service however this wasn't forthcoming.Not wanting to cause a scene we didn't ask for the service charge to be removed but with hindsight we should have.Such a shame as we've always recommended this restaurant

Landmark Oriental Restaurant and Bar
Went for the first time on a Saturday night. We chose the £40 pp banquet. The food was very poor; the peking duck portion was barely warm and really small, the battered prawn starter still had the shell on inside the batter and the main dishes tasted average and were small portions. Not a good experience and not worth the money. We mentioned we were disappointed with the food but they weren’t really interested. Won’t be going back.

Landmark Oriental Restaurant and Bar
Visited this restaurant a handful of times and it is officially my go-to chinese restaurant in town. The food is brilliant, the staff are amazing and very hospitable.A good (but maybe bad thing) is that I cannot pick out my specific favourite part about my experience being here - everything is just superb and have made some fantastic memories just from being here. Always waiting for the next time I visit this restaurant again!

We came for my Dad's 70th birthday, they had decorated the table with a balloon and confetti. The food was amazing, staff attentive. Will definitely go back again!

Landmark Oriental Restaurant and Bar
This is a wonderful place to eat. All the staff are really friendly. I have visited a couple of times now and although it is always super busy, the staff always make time for you and will greet you with a smile.The food is prepared fresh and is hot, and quite quickly in my opinion. The prices are also reasonably priced for a sit-down Chinese restaurant as well.Would recommend to eat here.

Best Chinese restaurant in Newcastle for sure. Great service, welcoming atmosphere and superb tasting food.Good Christmas banquets and set meal options available.Looking forward to my next visit already! 10/10 amazing.

Lovely meal, staff very attentive. Only thing would be an extra pancake with the duck, always run out haha! Food was amazingly fast and lunch time deal is good value.

Initially, this restaurant was confusing. There is no hostess area where you go to get a table. Just had to ask a walking by waiter to get sat at a table. Maybe that is not the proper way, but there should be a sign or some easier way, because it feels very awkward waiting in front looking like you have no idea what to do, because you don't.After that, the mixed appetizer was amazing. Everything in it was very good. The main meal we got was the house special fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and lemon chicken. The fried rice was spectacular and the sweet and sour chicken was 5/5. The lemon chicken sauce was not good. Tasted fake almost. I had only four items on the menu and three of them were fantastic. Would go back without a doubt. Better than other places I have had in Chinatown.

Landmark Oriental Restaurant and Bar
Always love going here. The food is delicious, and we always get a warm welcome from Yen, and the service is spot on. It's definitely a place I would recommend.
