Bad alteration / stitching service,Only noticed once i arrived home. The patch is not on straight its slightly off centre which is noticeable to the eye so that’s annoying.But also damage has been done to the jumper underneath the patch which is noticeable. I have attached a photo for reference. Will most likely be removing the patch, buying a new jumper, and getting it redone elsewhere.Not happy, thought the service would be good after seeing good reviewsResponse: dont see any point returning as the jumpers got holes/rips in it so cant really be fixed. I visited this place a number of times for dry cleaning and laundry washing purposes in the last 3-4 years and never had any major issues - until recently! I took a double duvet which had coffee stains to be cleaned and brought my anti-allergy laundry detergent and its measuring cup with it since I am allergic to dust mites. I asked one of the ladies there to use the measuring cup, marked to a level and explained that only a small amount of detergent was enough (since it's a dense liquid, plus highly chemical). When I went to collect the duvet, firstly I found that the coffee stains were not gone completely. Secondly, the detergent bottle was almost empty (there was enough to do another 2-3 washes) and the measuring cup went missing. When I asked about the cup (explained it was in a bag with the detergent bottle), the lady who actually did the washing said she did not see it and threw the bag in the bin. This explained how the bottle was gone empty, since she used much more than needed. Obviously, the lady I talked to did not pass on the instructions. I will not be taking the duvets there again!

For two years I did my own washing and drying and I never had an issue.The staff are very friendly and helpful.I definitely recommend.

After reading so many positive reviews and finally getting a free moment, we decided to visit here to sort a few loads all at once.Location is easy to find and it is located around plenty of shops so you can wash and shop all at the same time. The dryers are okay and are charged at £1 for 10mins. More larger dryers are needed for when it gets busy though.The washing machines however are full of mildew and you can smell the mold from them. Ew! A weekly deep clean with bleach wouldn't go a miss. Leaving mold and scum in there long term will stain peoples clothes and transfer bacteria! The smell stuck to my items after the wash, even though I used strong scened conditioners and disinfectants.The lady working there was ok however a girl entered the shop at one point and acted as if she owned it and started telling us we were using the machines wrong and constantly rolled her eyes and tutted (even though we hadn't even touched the machines yet as we were sorting our load. The girl complained for a good 30mins as she sat behind the counter so she must work there or be friends with the lady to be comfortable to look in the till.The bad attitude of the girl and the mouldy machines have overall put us off using the local launderette again.

I do my own washing. The staff are very helpful. My washing comes out beautifully clean.

Took a dress in to be altered on Sunday, told to collect on Wednesday, arrived on Wednesday, but dress not done. Then told the dress would be ready for the next day after 12pm, when I got there the dress has not been altered and owner said their sewing machine had been broken for the last 3 days. Not sure why I hadn’t been told that in the first place! Wont come here again.

I've had the pleasure of using these excellent facilities since March'23. Friendly and supportive staff. I highly recommend.
