Beautiful place

Lovely little church called in to visit my grandparents grave ❤

A special nod to the church's Persian ironwood, just near the carpark.

Very pleasant church and graveyard with a liberal parking policy for a donation.

Friendly and welcoming church with a regular programme of services and events.We particularly like the monthly all age service which has a good congregation from the village.

Nice church... Shame could not go in as it seems to have nice stained glass windows.

It is possible to park outside the church in the week. It's a good start/end point for sections of the Heart of England Way. The church is GI listed and dates from the 12th century, although there has been a church here since 960AD. Go to Google/ Wikipedia for details of the architecture.

Nice little village church

Why this church has to ring its bell every hour throughout the night is beyond me. We stayed in one of the holiday cottages next to it unaware that our 4 night stay for some well earned rest would be totally ruined! Most people are in bed by 11, so 12 rings at midnight is appalling, but to carry on throughout the night is totally and utterly unacceptable. Gone are the timed when you need to know the time because you don’t have a clock! There is no war to warn of or sadly peace to celebrate!!! The sound of bells on a Sunday morning is a pleasant memory of my childhood, the sound of bells throughout the night is the sound of nightmares! The land lord of the local pub even told us that he decided not to buy a place so close to the church because of this. Totally lacking any self awareness and downright selfish!
