Too many staff and then they just want to point you to a machine to do the job, no personal service anymore. Swinton branch shut, Oxford Road Manchester shut and Salford shut. How can you pay cheques in anymore during the week when you have 30 mins lunch and the nearest branch is a 2hour road trip? Impossible.

Always had a wonderful experience with this bank. Excellent staff from all back grounds. Customers give them a head ache but they still get on with their good service. One of the few banks that still opens on a Saturday.Really helped me with printing etc

Absolutely Shocking customer service if I could score 0 stars I would. We have had a business banking issue for 4 months that still hasn’t been resolved where our money is just floating around in the ether somewhere if we owed HSBC money I’m sure it would be dealt with very quickly and efficiently and with financial consequences for us! Shame on you HSBC

Terrible bank, needed help with business banking but the bank do not care at all. They have gotten worse over the years, requested for my online banking to be sorted it’s been almost 5-6 weeks and still had no response.

Agonisingly long waiting times. Seemingly understaffed. Also, why are they barely open on the weekends?! However the staff are quite friendly if you're lucky enough to be seen.
