Alsager Household Waste Recycling Centre
Despite poor weather conditions, we enjoyed our 4 mile walk there today. Would love to visit in the Spring and Summer to see all that has been achieved there on this former waste tip. Good paths and instructive Post Boards informing visitors of wild life, birds, flowers to be seen there.

If I could give it minus stars I would. After Crewe tip only accepted odd number plates with no warning (genius) we had the delights of visiting Alsager. The crusty old wench on guard was a quality bin dipper ordering the troops to pull bags out and sift through looking for content they didnt want and telling us they couldn't accept most of the stuff.'Thanks for recycling' it says on the way out as your boot is still half full and you've done half a tank of petrol. It's no wonder people fly tip with this kind of 'service'.

They are working well to try and accommodate everyone's needs. It would be nice if you could take a small trailer as normal though now things have calmed down a bit.
