Purchased a Liv avail AR 2 on Friday. Really good experience. Troy was really helpful and answered my questions. I wasn't rushed either. I went to collect the bike today and again Troy was helpful, pleasant and explained everything I needed to know. I didn't know about De Ver Cycles before, I came across them whilst searching online for a bike. So pleased I found them though and would definitely recommend.

Purchased a Giant - 2020 Propel Advanced Disc (Red) Medium from De Ver Cycles, a day before I picked up my bike I was on the phone with the shop owner for a hour to discuss my concerns about the payment and bike selection.By the time when I arrived the shop, the staff - Troy was very friendly and patiently adjusted the bike based on my height and cycling posture, it's like a semi fitting service. I stayed at the shop for more than an hour, he also explained how the component/attachment works and how to maintain my brand-new bike in an excellent condition, I learned a lot from him on that day.If you're looking to buy a new bike, this is a shop for you, I highly recommended it. I am very happy to cycle my new babe around :)

Very happy customer here. I got a great deal on a Giant Propel ('22 model) - best part of £1k off the rrp on the giant site. The communication, dispatch, and personal instructions for the build were all perfect. The bike itself is amazing, only thing I would have asked for is the option to have stem slammed (as you can see, its a tad on huuuuuge side), but that leaves me with a project to work on, so all good. Will buy from De Ver again, when I get my next Giant TCR

Julian helped me with a warranty issue on a crankset from a bike I purchased elsewhere. Absolutely nothing in it for them, no money asked for etc, just helped as a supplier of Giant bicycles. You’ve literally made my year… thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

HiRecently bought a bike online with de Ver Cycles, never having purchased a bike online I was very nervous . I had so much support from the shop . I decided to go to the store to pick up my bike and the service in the store was excellent. Would definitely recommend the staff in the store and buying anything online from them. It was such a pleasure to go into a cycle shop with such knowledgeable and helpful staff

Excellent service 3 years after purchase.I recently had some issues with my Giant Shimano Power Meter. Despite being out of warranty Julian and the team responded to my email queries and took the time to help me trouble shoot the issues with firmware and calibrations. I appreciated their time in communicating clearly and their support.Really makes a difference. I highly recommend them (Again!).

Extremely disappointed by the service I've had from De Ver recently. Bought my bike from them a good few years ago and that was a good experience so I thought I could trust them with servicing a rear wheel but I was badly mistaken. After waiting a month for what should have been a quick job I have just got my wheel back to find that I can no longer put it on my bike because the thru axle no longer goes through the hub... God knows what the mechanic was doing but he seems to have crushed the wheel axle. On further inspection I have noticed the disc rotor splines have been mashed up as well, and the threads on the rotor lock ring have also been badly damaged. What makes this worse is that I took the wheel into the shop with the cassette and disc already removed, and before they gave me the wheel back they insisted that I bring the cassette and rotor into the shop so they could check the wheel". This should not be necessary to do to check that a new freehub has been assembled correctly so it now feels that they insisted on installing the rotor for me (despite me saying I could do it myself) in order to hide the mess from me instead of admitting their poor mechanical ability. They also managed to puncture the inner tube in the process which adds to my suspicion of heavy handedness. Extremely disappointed and a frustrating experience. Avoid this shop if you care at all about your bike!"

I got a puncture in my back tyre, so I took it to De Ver Cycles for what should have been a quick & fairly easy fix. The guy I saw even said, it should be about a 10 min job. I was there for nearly an hour & they still couldn’t fix it in that time. They said the tyre was hard to put back on after replacing the tube & as they were shortly due to close for the day I’d need to come back. I got a call the next day to say it had been fixed, but they had run out of Presta valve tubes & had to fit a Schrader 1 instead. This meant drilling a hole in my rim to accommodate the thicker valve. They just went ahead & did this without asking me 1st. If I’d have been asked I would have said no & I would have got a Presta valve tube for them to fit, rather than modifying my rim for a valve it was never built for. So, I went to pick up my bike, paid them & went on my way. The tyre was bulging & looked like it hadn’t been put back on properly, so I took the bike back. I was waiting another 30 minutes for it to be sorted & it was still bulging slightly when I got it back the 2nd time. You would think that a bike shop that sells high end bikes & carries out repairs would have no problem changing an inner tube. Also, if the right part was out of stock & modifications needed to be made, you would think they would ask 1st before just deciding themselves to go ahead & modify. By far, the worst bike shop I have ever used for such a simple task. I would have changed the tube myself, but didn’t have spare tubes at the time & didn’t imagine a bike repair shop would have issues doing it for me. I even told 1 of the guys at the counter that I was a bit unhappy they had taken it upon themselves to modify my wheel without my permission & he simply said “but now you have the choice of Presta or Schrader, which is better…” Safe to say, I will avoid this place like the plague.
