The staff are excellent and the venue accommodates a large crowd without ever feeling crowded. Bar food is absolutely fine, reasonably priced and served up quickly. Restaurant food is hit and miss. I have had a few decent meals but it is pricey. Think pub grub dressed up as fine dining. Most recently I had a prwawn and avocado starter...featuring those tiny prawns nobody ever buys but are still available in the deepest, darkest regions of your supermarket frozen section...nasty stuff. Tiny pieces of avocado sparsely set against lashings of Marie Rose sauce. Very 70s. The main of lamb was a cheap shoulder cut, cooked to perfection and served with fries. Again, a trip down memory lane...but not in a good way. £18.95 for two courses. The other options were sausage and mash or salmon. See what I mean...

Great place to get ready for the game. Unfortunately everyone knows about it now so it's very busy...
