AO World
they pay contractors to force rules on drivers acting as their drivers but not employed by AO. this is to free them of having employee costs and obviosly paying holidays and sick pay. this frees them from being responsible for accidents at work (being on the road). i you want to drive for them, expect minimum wage, 11hr routes (realisticly 16hr) being a sole driver. expect to wave your rights away any break the law because you will be expected to go over your 8 hours!! if you dont then they have no place for you in their company
