Hessle looks like a good station from trains.Hessle's main landmark is Humber Bridge, which was the World's longest single span suspension bridge. Another geographical feature is linked to the bridge. The Yorkshire Wolds Way terminates on the bridge The Lincolnshire Wolds Way probably terminates on the bridge too, forming The Wolds Way, new version.

Hey it's an un-manned station not much there.They've added ticket machine, and the electronic notice boards were being worked on when I was there.

Hessle square is nice. Plenty of shops, bakeries, pubs, cafes etc. The parking in the square itself is a bit limited, but there is a car park around the back of the library and cooperative. There is a small seating area towards the bus stop, in the square.
