They all deserve more than 5 stars at the Guy's Cancer Centre!Excellent service, everyone is so helpful, welcoming and they really care about their patients. My journey was less hard thanks to the whole team. The consultants, the chemotherapy team, the radiotherapy team, the Dimbleby staff, the fitting room staff and of course my lovely Doctors and nurse were basically my family during my treatment and they couldn't be more amazing! THANK YOU

I will be attending the department today for my final treatment.I am so grateful for everything that Guy’s have done for me. Everyone I have met has been so supportive, kind and professional. The unit is always calm and welcoming. Everything is explained clearly and I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment, despite being delayed by the hospital transport system on occasions. (I travel daily from a hospital in Kent)Thank you all so much. You’ve made a stressful time in my life so much easier to deal with.

I'm glad to see so many good reviews here and seeing everyone recovering well, which gives me more hope; but unfortunately, my dad got a female consultant (I don't want to name her here) who is very impatient, even a bit rude (not sure if it's because of cultural differences), she is always in a rush, never answering our questions and concerns properly, she didn't seem to care about my dad's condition at all, and after many months of treatment, when my dad asked her if his brain tumour was gone, she even laughed at him, not in a polite way but more like ridicule way, which hurt my feeling; I felt my dad had been bullied. She makes everything uncomfortable, which causes extra stress and despair in my family. In addition, we tried calling the nurse for days (I called 10+ times per day), but no one answered, and they kept making mistakes with my father's appointment date and time. Last but not least, they lost my father's blood test record, so he had to do it again.I would like to ask anyone here is it ok for my dad to change a consultant? And any recommendations? Thanks
