Belmont Park

Lots of great wheelchair accessible parking here. Their are new inclusive picnic tables, and paths are wheelchair accessible. There are toilets, but I'm not sure if these are wheelchair accessible. The park is good for a wide age range but is not wheelchair friendly. We had a great couple of hours here.

There is green space in this park for walking etc but I am most familiar with the playground. The playground is excellent for younger children, there are climbing frames that are suitable for toddlers and one larger one for older kids (8 years old for example?). The playground is well maintained and secured with a wall around it and gates at the entrances so you don't need to worry about escapees. The playground is close to the car park (which is very convenient). The car park is large and free. Only downside about the park as a whole is that there are no public toilets that I'm aware of but I think loos are becoming less common in parks these days anyway so I guess it's not surprising. On the whole it's the best park in my area by a mile.

Good playground, plenty of bins and no litter although the portaloo could be a lot cleaner.

I love this wee park, near to my daughters house and the dog loves on her lomg lead to run through the grass

Great location to exercise the dog after the overnight ferry crossing from Liverpool

Love taking my dog here, it's a lovely walk, 2 parks connected via a bridge. If you have children with you it also has a fantastic play park. Also, there is a small forest in one of the parks and the dog loves to go in looking for squirrels and its lovely and peaceful. Great park to walk my dog.

A lovely place with a play area for the kids and a lovely walk on well kept paths around the park.

Found the park quite hilly and not great walking.Little sign of wildlife of any sort.Spread across a main road by 2 bridges nothing really to excite

Great place to let the kids run free. Nice that it's an enclosed space but you can see all round it.

Great dog friendly park, with plenty of open spaces and a play park. Very clean and well maintained and lots of friendly dog owners.
