James Horner Vets

After being with Medivet Coventry for 2 years, we switch to this practice and the difference is unreal.Staff are caring, polite and happy to help. Customer service is genuinely excellent. Talking to them in person, over the phone or WhatsApp, they always ensure to give you an advise and accurate information, even if you are not seeing a vet.Called medivet as my male cat couldn't urinate and was constantly going to the litter box in distress, they told me if that was the case he would be dead. After this response, I fully switched to James Horner practice. They immediately saw him, calmed me down and gave clear advise on what to do. My cats was doing better by the evening.Called them once with having found a very pregnant cat with fleas abandoned on the street. Medivet told me to leave her where she is and call RSPCA. Happily, called James Horner vets as well, and they immediately helped me, gave me advise on how to clean her up and saw her few days later. James took me through what to expect birth wise and how they can help, prices and services were clear and available to me in advance. Mom gave birth within 10 days of me finding her. Took the kittens for check upba few weeks later, one was way smaller and the vet Hollie was brilliant. Listened to all my questions, gave me plenty of advise on how to look after mom and kittens and support their growth. Glad to say all the kittens and mom are healthy, happy and have forever homes now. Very grateful to the entire team of this practice. Sadly, I had to change vets as relocated for work, but I wish there were more vets like them.Absolutely brilliant people and professionals, happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy vet practice.

These vets are very good. My pets were both changed from a previous vets, new health concerns have been found and treatment started.The team don't mind you asking questions, and they in turn give you the info you need to make decisions.Very helpful and friendly - would recommend.

We switched here from another vet for initially one procedure on the basis that they were much more reasonably priced, but have since decided to stay here due to the quality of care and service. Every member of the team is knowledgable, friendly and empathetic. We have taken our cat for 2 procedures and multiple appointments and have had a fantastic experience every time. James and the team are excellent and make the experience of going to the vets a pleasant one for pets and owners.

Best vet in the area.. The whole team is very passionate for what they are doing and know the know.. We got into a critical situation with one of our cat and since usual vet was not available we made a quick visit and voila.. We now have all our cats registered at James Horner Vets and very relaxed.. We love all our vet trips which is caring for our fur babies and very transparent and competitive in terms of cost. We were not registered with this practice as we were visiting relatives, but had an emergency appointment as our beautiful springer collapsed and we had to have her put to rest. All staff were excellent and treated us with respect, compassion and utmost professionalism. Nice to have an independent vet who care about their clients. Would highly recommend.

I would highly recommend this practise everyone is a delight. They are kind caring and professional. My dog Archie adores going in there.

Vet Hollie and all the staff were fantastic. We took our cat in because she was having dental problems and it turned out she had to have some teeth removed.They answered all our questions, kept us up to date on her progress on the day of the procedure and treated our cat with compassion and care.

Took 2 of my daughters cats for a check up & some flea/worm treatment. They saw Hollie who was very friendly & thorough. Hollie dealt with all of our concerns in a professional manner putting our minds at ease. The clinic is very clean & every member of staff is welcoming & genuinely seems to care about the animals they see! Would recommend to all!

This is by far the best vet it is outstanding James and the team are by far the best vets our 2 kids have been cared for by, no question to big or silly for the team they have the time to listen to any worries problems just pick up the phone and ask a question.The after care is also outstanding, James called me on Friday in his own time to check on the kids has they have not been to the vets in awhile. For us that speaks volumes a private vet that cares about your pets not like corporate vets that just want the money guys from Marley n Pebbles you get 5 woofs great service.

To be honest I picked this vets purely as they were the closest vet to my house but I will now be using them as my primary vets and moving my dogs over too :) One of my 5 rescue cats can be tricky and his last experience at a different vets was v. upsetting for him and me as he got so stressed there.Here I was able to bring all the cats in for vacs together which was ace as they took comfort from each other. Staff listened to my suggestions to help them settle during the consult and it certainly worked. The practice has a very calm atmosphere. I've since took one of my fosters in when she needed an emergency check up. Highly recommended.
