Pratis Barns

We had our wedding at Pratis in the summer of 23. It was amazing. Nicola and Louise were just wonderful answering all of our questions, making us feel comfortable and making sure the day ran smoothly. Nicola was sweet enough to bring us a personal platter of canapes to make sure we had eaten during photos! We felt very well looked after. Patrick and his team prepared the most delicious food which all our guests were raving about. Staying at Pratis house made everything so much easier from setting up to getting ready and it didn't hurt that it was absolutely stunning. We couldn't have been happier with everything and would highly recommend them and the venue to anyone looking to plan an event or wedding. We wish we could do it all over again! Big thank you to the Pratis team!

Pratis was the perfect venue for our wedding earlier this year. The venue is beautifully situated with views across Largo Bay and we were lucky to enjoy our wedding on a sunny September afternoon to take full advantage of this.It's so convenient being able to do everything on site and we received nothing but compliments for our venue choice. It was the second venue we viewed and knew it was the one as soon as we saw it.We loved having access to the venue's store room for decorations. It's such a beautiful venue though that minimal accessories are required. The ceremony barn was particularly memorable with so much natural light and even a couple of swallows joining us for the ceremony!Special mention to Patrick's catering. The food was one of the highlights of the day and we loved having a blank canvas to create something memorable. The quality was first class and everyone loved their meal.Nicola and Patrick were so easy to work with and allowed us to enjoy our day stress free knowing that every little detail was being taken care of to the highest standard. Their team on the day were also faultless - so helpful and friendly throughout the day. Thanks so much!

We had the most amazing wedding here in April 2023.Everything was spectacular from when we first booked to leaving on the Monday morning.Could not praise Louise, Nicola and Patrick enough. They had everything sorted down to the last detail. From moving our arrangements from the ceremony barn to the reception (which I hadn’t even thought about or asked to do), bringing us Prosecco and canapés after the ceremony (a particular highlight!!) the amazing food and seamless transitions.People talk about the stress of a wedding, but I couldn’t have been more relaxed, thanks to everyone involved at Pratis.Our guests have not stopped commenting on the venue, the food, the staff, and the overall feel of Pratis.We stayed at Pratis House for the weekend (would defo recommend staying the Sunday too, it was soooo relaxing after the big day) and it makes the venue even better. So chilled out, amazing food delivered (and tidied up!!).Thank you for a day we will treasure forever, Joni and Scott Forrester

Ross and I got married at Pratis Barns on 3rd June 2023 and we could not have hoped for a more magical day.The venue is run by an incredible team - Nicola and Louise supporting all the planning details, Patrick creating interesting and delicious menus, friendly grounds team (who let my 3 year old climb on his tractor - his dream!) and of course the staff delivering on the night - all had a refreshingly flexible and relaxed attitude that I have rarely come across at other venues (I organise events for a living). We feel genuinely grateful for all they did as they enabled us to have our day exactly as we wanted it.The venue itself was a breath of fresh air. Rustic and full of character - but not run down... lots of little touches already in place for you incorporate into making your wedding unique to you. They have the incredible wonder room where past loved items from other weddings can be reused for free - saved us a lot of time and money. The food delivered on the day was incredible with praise still coming in from our friends and family about how impressed they were with it.We also stayed in Pratis House over the weekend which I fully recommend you do, but I warn you now, you won't want to leave.I cannot recommend this venue highly enough - thank you team, we've had the best launch party to our married life!

My husband and I got married at Pratis Barns on the 20th of July and we couldn’t have hoped for a better day. The setting for the venue is just stunning and we had so many compliments about the venue during the day.Louise is an absolute gem and is totally amazing at what she does. She was in contact with us every step of the way and was such a calming, reassuring presence on the day but also a massive hype-woman to us girls once we were all dressed and ready to go. Nicola and the team were fantastic on the day and service was slick. There was a slight issue with the team forgetting to put the rose wine on the tables but once highlighted it was quickly rectified.Patrick’s catering was simply outstanding. I was a bit apprehensive as our tasting had gone so well, I wasn’t sure if the team would be able to execute the dishes to such a high standard for so many guests. However, I shouldn’t have worried, every dish was flawless and we received so many comments on how great the food was and even many saying it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had.We stayed at Pratis House the night before and night of the wedding and it was fantastic. The whole house is finished to an amazing standard and I loved that each room was different. It was great all being able to sit down together for dinner the night before the wedding once the whole setup was finished. My now husband and I had the pleasure of getting married in the beautiful Pratis Barns back in October, on none other than halloween! the whole process was brilliant from start to finish, we had so much free reign with how we wanted our wedding to be, this was a big selling point to us when choosing our venue, we felt other venues we had looked at just didn't give us the same freedom. They are extradorinary good value for money when you see all that is included with your venue, the grounds are absolutely stunning and with Pratis being the gorgeous big blank canvas that it is, your wedding can be tailored to suit exactly you and your spouse. The lovely Nikola said that they have never seen two weddings the same, how special is it that one space can transform in so many different ways to bring to life the most special day of so many couples lives. The wonderful Louise, we cannot sing her praises enough, our day would not have gone so smoothly had she not been there, she was a pleasure to work with, so incredibly helpful and so charasmatic, she is a true credit to Pratis. Bob also deserves a special mention for being a class guy! thanks Bob! Pratis would not be the beauty it is without you. And thank you Patrick and team for keeping our bellies well fed and satisfied with the most delicious food. The entire Pratis team run like a well oiled machine, seamless and without fault, we cannot thank you all enough for helping make our day so special, we are so happy we got married at Pratis Barns. We got married at Pratis Barns at the end of September, and couldn't have hoped for a more perfect day!Nicola and Patrick have done a brilliant job with the house and venue over the last two years since we booked. The venue was amazing, everyone we spoke to commented on how beautiful the barns were and what a lovely space the reception was in. Any transitions throughout the day were seamless, and the prop room was amazing!Pratis House was the perfect place to spend the weekend, super set up for photos and a lovely setting to get ready in - the bath in the master was a perfect photo op too!The catering from Patrick and the team was incredible, we've had so many comments from our guests that it's the best wedding meal they've had. Everything from the canapés to the pizza and the brunch the day after was perfect. One of our suppliers commented that the supplier meal was the best he's had (and he's done over 1000 weddings!).Our on-site wedding co-ordinator Louise was amazing. The day wouldn't have been as perfect as it was without her co-ordinating everything. She was invaluable with the planning, co-ordinating on the day, moving things around, feeding us during our photos and most importantly, the moral support. It felt like we were planning our wedding with a close friend rather than a supplier :)Thank you again, we had the best time!

Pratis is such an amazing venue. We had our wedding there last week and it was everything we could have hoped for. The buildings are beautiful and the grounds are amazing. The staff were all very helpful and ensured the day ran super smoothly and the food was incredible! We asked for a more bespoke greek menu and they were more than happy to accomodate this and certianly delivered. We also stayed in Pratis House for the weekend and it was incredible. The house has been done up amazingly and just added to the whole experience. I can't thank the team enough for the whole weekend!

Pratis is a delightful, countryside venue - perfect for a summer wedding. I'm completely in love with the newly renovated Pratis House. Nicola and Patrick have done an incredible job brining the house to life in such a beautiful way. The barn/ceremony area is unlike any other. Swallows swoop in and out of the great barn doors making it feel like you're a Princess in a Disney movie! The scenery is absolutely stunning with views stretching across the Fife countryside all the way down to the Forth River. Patrick's chef skills are fantastic. I photographed a wedding where the entire meal was Vegan - it was one of the most delicious wedding meals I've ever had!

We got married at Pratis last Saturday and had the most incredible weekend. We got so many compliments on the the beautiful venue and location, the barns are laid out perfectly for a relaxed wedding and the access to the prop room the day before means you can really make the place your own, there’s so much stuff to choose from! Nicola, Patrick and the rest of the staff were incredible all weekend, helping the day run smoothly and making sure we were fed and relaxed. Speaking of, the food is absolutely delicious! Patrick was super flexible and based the menu around what we wanted, people are still praising how good it was. We would also highly recommend getting the post breakfast the day after, made the morning after very chill. Can’t recommend Pratis Barns enough!
