Really like this area. Building is fascinating and very atmospheric. A bit spooky almost on the day we visited. Also took a trip to the cafe in the village. Lovely tea and cake.

Good flat car park with toilets. Adjacent to the actual castle. No English Heritage signage on the approach so look out for small black and white signs. Turn is just before a one-way section of road.

Castle Rising is a fine gem of a medieval castle, earthworks and keep. The men's toilets weren't open, but hopefully that's only temporary.

Castle Rising Castle Car Park
Informative boards dotted around the castle grounds telling the history of the place. Its possible to walk around the hill sides to gaze at the scenery and imagined what it would have been like to live there centuries ago. The castle is open to walkaround the rooms and climb the stairways. Informative signs also inside the castle. The car park is free and there is a small shop with the ticket office inside. Worth a visit if your heading to Heacham or Hunstanton or Sandringham.

Great little castle with a good walk around on the grassy hill around it. Toilets located in the car park and a sweet little gift shop

A bit muddy in the wet weather however it’s free has plenty of space and has toilets!
