Steve and Mick installed my windows today. They were on time, did a great job and were very pleasant. Couldn't have asked for more.

Countryman did a good job recently on repairing our double glazing, but then I made the mistake of getting them to quote and deliver guttering work. This work entailed replacing some guttering, replacing leaking joints, cleaning out the rest and connecting a water butt to the downpipe.After their first visit I was told everything was done (bar the water butt), but it was clear some of the guttering hadn't been cleaned as I could see moss growing out. They then came back to connect up the water butt and the next day I went to check and it was split and leaking everywhere. They came back again, replaced this and cleaned the guttering. After finally getting some rain a few days back I checked the guttering again and the same joints were still leaking so hadn't been replaced. Now they haven't returned my contact and I'm giving up hope of them completing this job to a satisfactory level.

Quick, courteous and efficient. They did exactly what I asked for, didn't try to flog me anything that I didn't need or want and then rocked up when they said they would and completed the work in record time.

Call out charges excessive. Failure to acknowledge faults to fitting and difficulty in returning calls. Have had to resort to official complaint to trade body to rectify. If you can choose another company I would strongly advise you so to do.

This company was established in 1988 and has an excellent reputation. There are 2 bogus reviews posted on to this site. They have been reported to Google but the report has been ignored. If you are interested in windows, doors or a conservatory Countryman is a family owned and run business which will provide you with the care and attention you deserve and a service which is exceptional. If you visit the website you will find hundreds of genuine references.

Rude! Just taken a call from seomone there, spoke over me from start to finish. When I could eventually get a word in, and said I'd already gone with another supplier, I had the phone slammed down on me! Charming!

Very happy with the service we received. Products are or a very high quality. The installation process went very well and we are very pleased for the price we paid.

Just had the third job done with these guys over a few years. This is a properly run little company who do everything that they promise in my experience. Quality of work and customer service is faultless.

About 10 years ago I had French doors and kitchen windows fitted by Countryman and I was very pleased with the overall standard of work.In July last year I had large windows fitted in the lounge and bedroom. I was not happy with those in the bedroom, as they let noise in at one side of the frame. When I raised this with Countryman my concerns were trivialised and ignored.I put up with this situation for several months before deciding to conduct an experiment. I held a candle to the area where the noise was entering the bedroom, and there was such a draught coming through the frame, that the flame was extinguished.I sent this evidence to Countryman and when the owner of the company visited my house he was still reluctant to accept that there was a problem and accused me of 'ranting'.However, he did send a freelance person to look at the window, who agreed that there was a problem, which was that the window had not been properly sealed around the frame.It took him 15 minutes to rectify the problem.
