James is a true craftsman. His skills and attention to detail are off the scale. He made a bespoke item for us, sourced an incredible piece of Olive wood and delivered something we will cherish forever. If you're reading this and thinking about ordering from James, do so without hesitation!

James has produced me an excellent and extremely beautiful living edge walnut dining table that I am extremely happy with. His workmanship is of a very high standard and his communication throughout the commission was brilliant and I loved my photo updates of how my table was coming along! I would 100% recommend James to everyone and will certainly be commissioning more things in the future when I am further down the line of my house renovation!

James is an excellent person to deal with, Jayne and I spent a lot of time at his workshop where he showed us his current projects and gave plenty of advise on what can be achieved with wood. James was very knowledgeable on live edge wood and very keen to help us with our questions on the suitability of a worktop and table for our campervan project. We were not rushed at all and James spent a lot of time talking us through various options.After we had left we had further questions and contacted James via email, he was always very prompt with his replies. I would definitely recommend James, he is professional, prompt with great after sales service and is genuinely keen to help.

I brought a garden sign for my husbands birthday and it was absolutely amazing... the quality was outstanding it was made from the most beautiful piece of wood .. he was over the moonWill definitely be ordering again .

I asked James to create a work top for an under-stairs desk. He has created a lovely solid top with the contours I wanted to allow for a seating position at the desk. He measured up and created a finish that is exactly as per the design.The finish is perfect and the colour match to the storage beneath is excellent. It really enhances the room and turns the space into a functional area. Thank you James.

I can’t recommend James at Live Edge Living enough. From our first communication in November until delivery today James has been so amazing and delivered our dining table personally.We asked James to create a table we’d seen nearly 6 years ago from a single piece of oak. We wanted no splits, no bows and a similar width either end (not too waney) it was a tall order given the length of the table but after searching James found us the perfect slab.Our leg style was very specific too, raw iron maiden legs which are produced by one company in Europe. James ordered them to be delivered to the workshop (after months of waiting) so that he could securely fix and strengthen the underside.After all of the waiting and James’s hard work preparing the top, planing, sanding and waxing the day finally arrived for delivery.James then travelled 3 hours to deliver and install the most beautiful table.We are stunned at the finish, so very pleased and thank James enormously.If you are looking for hand crafted bespoke furnishings then look no further, James is very professional and talented, we will be ordering our next piece very soon.

I treated myself to one of Live Edge Living's bath boards as I am a HUGE bath fan and is my little time of escapism each day! I asked James if he would be able to do a board made to measure for our wide rimmed bath, and he was happy to help! I was given the choice if I wanted tealight holders, iPad holder & wine glass holder, and if I wanted live edge or straight edge - meaning it was totally customised for us and our home. The bit I found most exciting was choosing which wood... live Edge offers so many choices and I was able to choose one to match our Oak bathroom counters perfectly. James was happy to send pics of different styles (and I asked for a lot of pics!) so I could be sure with my choice. Honestly, cannot recommend enough - such good quality wood - deep and chunky! Has completed the bathroom perfectly, thank you so much!

James made us a bespoke circular walnut dining table, and we couldn't be happier with the results. It is just perfect - an investment piece that we'll treasure forever. I have used Live Edge Living for two projects now, a revamp of a 1960 retro kitchen and the supply of some lovely Sycamore chopping boards. I have found them to be extremely skill full and great value. Highly recommend!
