We didn't know what to expect from Kip Mcgrath but the company was recommended from teacher friends. From the outset, a supportive and pleasant experience not only for our daughter but for us also. Our daughter's confidence around 'nailing the basics' has improved significantly in the run up to and including her GCSEs. We only wish we'd started it a little sooner to get extra benefit for her. Thanks again to all at Kip Mcgrath for helping our daughter find increased confidence in a subject she definitely doesn't have a natural 'flair' for.

Kip Mcgrath really do go above and beyond. From the initial assessment to a year and half down the line the service continues to be outstanding.The directors are professional and honest - feedback from the assessment showed my child academically beyond his years and I didn't feel pressured into signing up. Instead I was told how Kip could help and challenge him further. This I feel is important because some companies can make you feel you have to 'sign on the dotted line.'The office staff are friendly and polite and really welcome the children into sessions which the children clearly enjoy. They have a lovely rapport with them.Finally (but most certainly not least) The Tutors!The tutors are second to none and plan the lessons to great detail enabling my child to learn at the level he is capable of. They build a fantastic relationship with the children, making learning fun and enjoyable. My child enjoys learning with his tutor so much he asked to do two subjects!Whether you child has a higher learning ability or is needing help with specific areas then Kip Mcgrath is highly recommended. The results really are phenomenal!

My son attended Kip to prepare for his GCSE’s. The free assessment quickly identified gaps in his knowledge which meant his learning was personalised around these areas. Starting with things he could do very quickly developed his confidence. His tutors were fully qualified teachers who were very experienced and knowledgeable in regard to exam preparation. I would highly recommend Kip McGrath to anyone considering tuition for their child. The centre is vibrant, engaging but most of all warm and welcoming.

We attended Kip McGrath to explore options to support our son who was struggling in school. From the moment we walked up the stairs it was Louie who was welcomed and made to feel like this was his place. The team were exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable and put us at ease. Louie is now receiving excellent support and his confidence will grow each week.

Great environment for kids to improve their English, our daughter enjoyed going to classes here at Kip McGrath Gateshead. With the help of the classes she managed to catch up with schoolwork she missed last year due to constant disruptions (Covid-19). Deserves 5 star!

Since Harrison started at Kip Mcgrath we have seen an uplift in his attitude and application towards his education. In a short space of time he has built a trusting relationship with his tutor, this has reinvigorated his working relationships in school and there has been a noticeable uplift in his performance in all areas.

My son has only been going to Kip sessions for a few weeks but I can see a difference and he really enjoys the sessions! At the start, the team completed assessments and know exactly what he needs to work on and they support him well during the lessons. I get written feedback from his teacher each week and follow up work to do at home. Not the cheapest tutoring but I would recommend Kip to anyone looking to help their child with their learning!

I have just received my daughter's school report and she has received 'expected for her year group' for maths. I can't tell you what a huge relief this result is (received 'working towards' for the previous two years).Her confidence has steadily grown over the last 9 months since she has been coming to the centre. Following parents evening at school last October and her teacher stressing we needed to get external support because she was so far behind, I found Kip and my daughter attended weekly lessons in Chester-Le-Street and thoroughly enjoyed them.My daughter will continue to attend Kip over the next year for continued support to ensure the foundations are set for senior school. :)One very proud and delighted mum. We used Kip McGrath in Chester le Street while my son was unable to attend school during lockdown. He was struggling with his reading and writing and lacked in confidence. Having the extra support and encouragement from the team at Kip made such a difference. He always enjoyed his lessons and it was so encouraging to see his confidence grow.Thank you to Claire, Sue and everyone for making him feel welcome, and taking the time to really understand his needs and give him the foundations he will need through his education. We’ve seen our son’s confidence in reading and writing come on leaps and bounds since starting Kip McGrath tutoring. It helped him be ready for his ks1 assessment. He enjoys the interactions with the other students, tutor and mix of activities.
