Plymouth Snowsports Centre

Massive thanks to all staff and their effort for the kids camp during the holidays at Christmas 2022.A little extra thank you to Bree, Curtis and Joe who were directly involved with our daughters aged 9 and 6, very attentive throughout bringing them back up to speed when skiing. They are both looking forwards to the next camp when they visit for the day!

Excellent for my grandsons 7th birthday party, the actual place could do with a revamp though.

We saw this place on our way to Cornwall and we had a fantastic time on the toboggan and tubing. No ques and the staff are friendly and helpful. Recommended for a quick frill

Great holiday activity camps £40 for two ski or snowboard lessons, lunch, toboggans, snow tubes and their 'Viper drop'.

Easy parking. Friendly staff, enough to do to keep the kids occupied for a few hours. I thought the prices were on par with other similar places. Service a LITTLE slow in the cafe upstairs and the hot chocolate we order were served luke warm, but to be fair, they did knock them off the final bill.

Have received great instruction here from the trainer's for snowboarding. Lessons were informative, fun and sometimes wet. Some areas look a little tired. Good for skiing, snowboarding, toboggan run and snow tubing.

Really enjoyed our private snowboarding lesson with instructor Jake, he was very friendly, welcoming and helpful and we will definitely be going back for more lessons with him. We went at the perfect time of day and had the slope to ourselves. The main slope has been refurbished and is much nicer to snowboard on than other surfaces we have been on. Parking was really easy too.

I had two lessons at the Plymouth Ski centre both times I had ski instructor Curtis. He was fantastic in his guidance, advice and most importantly patience which helped me to develop the essential skills for skiing. Thank you.

Great fun on the activities (tubes, toboggan and viper drop) really friendly and helpful staff member guided us very professionally and very friendly. This part would deserve 4 stars. However, now the bad and its very bad part.We had to wait until 5pm to order our food, which we weren't told when we booked in. Went to order meals for the family but was told....no pizzas, no all day breakfast, no pasties and no sausage rolls. So we ordered some burgers and chips and sausage with chips for our boys I ordered at 5.05pm. At 6.05pm our food arrived and we were the only ones who had ordered food. Shocking. Food was average, burgers were overcooked and dry. Sausages were deep fried and didn't look appealing.So after spending nearly £170 on a family day out for 5, I would have expected better service and better food.

I took my children for a ski session there today and was absolutely blown away by how fantastic the place is! The staff were helpful friendly and well organised. The coaching was superb and it really helped all of us progress.I would highly recommend the centre to others as it was a fantastic experience all round. The views were fantastic too!
